I ♥ Brad Paisley.

Brad Paisley had actually came to Utah last Summer and I missed it and I told Dan that if Brad Paisley was to ever come back to Utah...I WAS going to be there.
Well, little did I know that He was coming back THIS Summer as well.

I missed buying my tickets and was sad.

I was constantly checking the classifieds on ksl to get me some tickets.

Well, I have said it more than once before, but please allow me to say it once again...

I truly am spoiled to have Dan as my husband, for he is always looking for ways to make me happy...

SO, when he surprised me with tickets to the concert, I was soooooo excited.

(maybe it was the hints I would leave around the house here and there, telling Dan just how much I would love to go and that he finally gave in and bought tickets...either way, I was going to the Brad Paisley concert!)

It was a great concert!

I totally see why Brad Paisley has won the award for entertainer of the year more than once.

He played for 2 straight hours.

I was in Heaven.One thing I have to say is that I can't believe just how much alcohol was consumed tonight at the concert by all ages of people. Dan and I were for sure the minority for drinking cokes. AND the money people would spend on alcohol is crazy...$8.00 for one can!

Seeing the alcohol start to take affect on people was truly a show in itself.

I can say that with Dan by my side, a coke zero in my hand, and Brad Paisley performing on stage, that was all the fun and entertaining I need for the night.

We have waited all Summer for the new season to begin, well tonight is the night!!!
Bring on the laughs and the drama that goes with loving this tv family.
I ♥ this show and strangely it reminds me why family is important and why we love all members in our family; so that there is always someone to blame or make you look better. ;)
NO. Because no matter what, where you might be, who you are, what you believe, your Family is there to love and support you.

What a bunch of animals.

That is what you get when you combine football with fans + the best city + food + a nice September night + wild sports mascots.
Mix that "fun" all together and you'll get a bunch of loud and excited animals being crazy with people cheering them on to "bring it."
This years mascot bowl didn't let the kids down.
It is something that they look forward to each year.
Don't get me wrong, it was fun sitting in the breezy night with the sun in our face, BUT the hardest thing to deal with was the kids everywhere!
I totally could deal without the mass crowd of kids that linger around, but hey, I was once a kid and we both know that they didn't come for football, but for their friends, but NOW I'm old, cool, but old.
Also, I found it a perfect time to talk to Kenzie as we walked to the car, I better not ever find out that she is wearing clothes like those kids or using that kind of language, OR is making out with a boy behind a building. She promised me that she wouldn't, and you better believe that I will make her keep that promise...for I was once a kid.
So, after the game was over, I am still not sure who was the biggest animals; the mascots or the mass numbers of kids.

A couple hours spent with 2 of my favorite people: Eliza and DAVID.

You better believe that we had all of our technology handy and ready to remember this moment that we both have been waiting for so very long.

A mini concert was preformed and in awe was I.

That boy can sing, but I already knew that. ;)

And I think you can tell by the smiles on both Liza's and my face that we were happy.

After being patient, our moment has come.

I had David sign my purse and we talked for a short, but sweet moment.

I can now say that I have found "peace" in my journey in meeting David.

I feel complete.

No need to "stock" BUT you better believe that I WILL still be buying his new cd that is set to be released on Oct. 5th, but hey, you already knew that....Stocker or no Stocker knows all good info like this.

What I have learned from this call...

1. Just how much I love and rely in caller ID.

2. Honesty is NOT always on your side.

3. People who make dumb calls are wasting their time.

So, don't call me unless I like you or you have something really important to tell me. ;)

What are the chances that I was listening to the radio, heard the opportunity to call in and win tickets. I was caller 10!!!

I freaked out!! (to say the least)

Imagine me, screaming. Jumping around. more screaming. attempting to do cheerleader kicks. In disbelief. more screaming.

I was crazy! (and LUCKY)

so, this upcoming Monday at lunch time, I'm not sure what you will be doing, BUT I can tell you that I will be having lunch with a private concert with DAVID ARCHULETA!!!
Dreams really do come true.

(who needs the lottery, with a radio station to give me my winnings.)
For sure, you can beat I will have my camera to capture the memories of this exciting day in my life.

Where has time gone??!?!
My #1 is now 10, that is kinda hard to say out loud, that means that I must be getting old as well...nooooo. I want to stop time right now.
But, you and I both know that that can't happen, so enjoy every minute that life throws at you. Good or bad...it's up to you on what your outcome will be.

Just to see you smile.

Setup. I am taking pictures of the kids (surprise surprise) it's Lanie's baptism day.

While I was talking with the older girls, I hear the "twins" giggling.

I turn my head and was able to snap this picture.

Carson is being the good big brother that he is and showing Cassie just how to smile.

See, Cassie is going through hopefully a phase of kinda scary smiling...not a favorite of mine, but hey, it's Cassie and way better then tears.

So, Carson is putting in his two senses and helping Cassie out.

It is one of my favorite moments in time that I was able to steel and capture forever.

You two kiddos, are constantly "teaching" me things daily and seem to put a smile on my face and make me remember just how happy I am to be your mom.

60 lbs. lighter

Today is the day that I have been waiting for for 5 years...
It has been years of blood, sweat, and tears

I have had good and bad days,
BUT today makes up for all the hard work!
I am 60 lbs. lighter!!!

Yes, you heard me right!

60 lbs. lighter.

Yes, it may only be for 2.5 hours for three days a week,

BUT, I will take it!!!

Today, Carson and Cassie started preschool!
I don't know who is more excited; me or them!!
I have waited for this day for a LOOOOOOONG time.

Most moms might have mixed feelings about this time in their "babies" lives, and maybe I do for just a slight little bit, BUT I am also ready to take care of myself and have some "me" time. I know that I deserve it...any mom does, but even more so of a mom of twins.

So, with a quick wave and a few pictures with their teacher...
I am officially 60 lbs. lighter.

Bring on the gym, but not before a well needed pedi.
