Need to tell me your NO FAIL Chocolate Chip Cookie recipes.
If you have detailed instructions that would be helpful, because ever single batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies I have ever made has FAILED. I'm thinking it has something to do with the butter...
So please...help me.
You would also be helping Husband. He thinks my cookies are pretty sad and pathetic, and questions them constantly.

Day 30...THE END.
*A picture of someone you miss.
Hallejuah. We are at the end.
I was going to post a picture of my Grandpa Warnick, but I couldn't find one. My Dad reminds me of my Grandpa. My Grandpa died when I was very little. I wish that I could have gotten to know him better. My favorite memory of him is he always used to pretend that he "got my nose". It kind of made me really upset, because I really thought he had my nose and I wanted it back. But, it's one of my most dear memories of him.
Check out how small my Little C is in that pic. Geez. Time is flying.

Day 28
* A picture of something you are afraid of...
More than anything, I am afraid of losing the people that I love in my life. I'm a worrier that way.
Eeee. I. Hate. Spiders. That picture gives me the heebie jeebies. Bleh. Not looking forward to summer because those beasts will be back. YUCK.
Day 27
*A picture of yourself and a family member.
Yeah...like I said in my last post....
This is old school. But it's more entertaining than just seeing the same pictures over and over again.
Yeah...like I said in my last post....
Day 26
*A picture of something that means a lot to you...
OMG. Seriously...why did I do this to myself. I feel like we have been over this about a hundred times...but if I must.
My family.
BAM.
Sorry guys. This has to be boring for you all...We are nearing the end though!!

Day 24
*A picture of something you wish you could change.
Adopting out that mutt, right there. When we moved from Payson, we didn't think we would be able to find a place that would allow us to have a large dog. So we did what we thought was best and adopted her out to a loving family in Woodland Hills. We miss her like crazy, and think about her all the time. Love you Nestle-Poo.
Day 23
* A picture of your favorite book.
Hmmmmm.
I really loved this series. I may just read it again...and again.

Something that is not part of the 30 Day Challenge. Woo!
I have actually been meaning to post other things on this blog. Because we actually have been doing things. Little C's baby blessing for starters. I know...we are slow. 4 months later and she is finally blessed.
Here are some pics of the event.
I am such a terrible mother that I did not get one picture of Caydence in her blessing dress. I know...Shame. On. Me. As soon as we left sacrament meeting Little C was like, "MOM. I NEED SLEEP NOW!", and I put her down for a nap once we got back to the house. She didn't wake up until nearly everyone was gone, which explains the lack of pictures of my sweet baby on her special day. I am going to make myself feel better by saying that I listened to my Little C's needs, and let her take a nappy, even though it would have been nice to sport her around on her blessing day. She would have been a little grump-weed had I not. So it was for the greater good, right? That's what I'm telling myself.
P.S. Husband's face in his family's group photo makes me laugh. Every. Time. I love my dear husband. :)
Next up. The Sportsman's Expo! We went to the Sportsman's Expo again this year with Husband's sister and her husband's family. We are actually kind of close with my sister-in-laws, in-laws. Is that weird?? They are really great people, and Husband does a lot of hunting with them. It's kind of like they are a part of our family. Crazy, huh?
Anyway. Here are the day's events represented by another collage. Collages are the bomb. So much better than loading a billion pictures to blogger.
Now. Since the weather has been totally lamesauce and gross lately. We've also been spending a lot of time at home. Taking lots of pictures of my cute baby...
We got Little C an Exersaucer since she loves to stand so much. She loves it. She stands there and screams at her toys. I'll get a video of it soon. :)
Things that my Little C is doing right now:
-Smiles like crazy.
-Has the most adorable laugh.
-She screams when she is happiest.
-She can roll from her back to her front, and vica versa.
-She is eating solid foods.
-She loves peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and prunes. We tried bananas for the first time, and she is actually very indifferent about them. I thought she would love them right off the bat.
-She loves to lay on her back and kick her feet a million miles an hour.
-She loves Winston. Any time he is in the room her eyes are on him.
-She is learning how to splash herself in the tub. She gets's mommy in the process as well. Not sure I'm a fan of that. But, she sure loves it.
-She is a supported sitter. Soon enough she'll be sitting on her own.
-She loves to stand. Loves it.
-She is learning how to use her little hands to grab on to things and pull them into her mouth.
I love my C Baby. Speaking of Little C, and Winston. Funny story.
See, Little C loves her Winston puppy.

I love my C Baby. Speaking of Little C, and Winston. Funny story.
He's not so little anymore.
I have to preface this story by saying that Winston loves to be around Little C. If she is on the floor, he is always laying next to her. Lately C-bot has started to grab on to him, which is is totally fine with. He's such a good puppy with the baby. Anyway. They were laying on the floor together. I was sitting on the couch and Winston was laying between me and Caydence. I could just see her little arms swinging away on the other side of him.
She started making a sucking sound, which is completely normal. She is always putting her hands in her mouth and sucking on those things like no tomorrow. Anyway, after a couple of minutes she started fussing a little bit so I leaned over to see what was wrong. Lo' and behold, she had turned herself towards Winston, and was sucking on his neck! She had herself a mouthful of Winston hair. Winston had this giant slobbery hair-horn for the rest of the day. Good thing we had given Winston a bath previously that day!
Day 22
* A picture of something you wish you were better at.
I always feel like there are ways that I can be a better mother to my Little C. I am very new at this whole thing, lots of trial and error. :) I can't believe she was to tiny. Geez. It's only been 4 1/2 months and last time she was weighed she was a whopping 15 pounds. Time is flying.

Day 21
* A picture of something you wish you could forget.
Geez. We're getting all dark and scary over here now,
Geez. We're getting all dark and scary over here now,
Now. Before you get me wrong, there were a lot of things about High School that I really enjoyed. I loved participating in HS sports. I had a lot of great friends. But, I spent a lot of time wishing that time in my life would just pass. I don't really like the person that I was in HS. I didn't make a lot of good choices, and most importantly, I didn't treat people very well. I wasn't a very nice person, and I think that is something that has followed me since then. I would like to think that I have redeemed myself over the years. But, there are other times that I just can't let it go.
Blah. Do we really every get over High School?

Day 20
* A picture of somewhere you would like to travel.
I want to travel to Europe. But more specifically, I want to see Italy.

Day 19
* A picture and a letter.
Dear Caydence Elle,
First off. You are the cutest baby of all time. I can't get enough of your smiles, coos, and laughter. I hope that you will let me snuggle you for the rest of your life, because I LOVE IT. But, I'm sure as you are reading this your thinking, "No mom. No. Your weird." I want you to know that I took a lot of time contemplating bringing you to this earth. I was scared. I was nervous. And all because of my own fears and insecurities as a soon to be mother. But, I want you know that you were the best decision I have ever made. I could never take it back because you are the most perfect, sweet, and innocent baby I could ever ask for. You make my life feel like it's complete. Sometimes, even though you are only 4 months right now, I think you understand me. I feel like you were made just for me.
I love you so much, and I can't wait to watch you as you grow, learn, and become an amazing little person.
Loves.

Day 18
* A picture of my biggest insecurity.
Sorry. You don't gets a picture of the real deal. My legs have always been a very big insecurity for me for a long long time.
Sorry. You don't gets a picture of the real deal. My legs have always been a very big insecurity for me for a long long time.
Day 17
* A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.
My parents separated and then divorced about 5-ish years ago. It's not something that is super recent, but it is something that influences my life on a day to day basis. I don't talk to others outside of my family about it very often, because it is still a very sensitive subject between my parents. They have both moved on and remarried, but sometimes it feels like the wounds are still fresh.
Sometimes I feel like I am the glue that keeps my siblings and I together.
Sometimes I feel that as the middle child, I have a responsibility to keep it together for everyone. I need to be the role model. I need to be the "bigger person". I need to tell so-and-so to get over it and move on. I act sometimes act as a mediator between not only my sisters, but my Mom and Dad.
Family get togethers, such as birthday's and baby blessings, are still awkward. It is hard for everyone to be in the same room together, and not give awkward glances at one another.
In general, and maybe this will take some time, but when it comes to my family I feel very disconnected from them. Like we are all in such different places in our lives.
I'm not sure if that makes any sense at all. But, that's that.
Moving on.

Day 16
* A picture of someone who inspires you.
This is kind of a really hard one for me.
I really am not sure if I can have just one picture of one person that inspires me. Because I'm inspired by A LOT of different people. A lot of them are people who directly influence my life like my family, and friends. However, I am very inspired by the people who I blog-stalk. Totally weird, I know. Many of these people I have never met.
The thing is, I am inspired the most by real people, doing real things and are one way or another trying to become, "The best they can be". Sounds cheesy but, it's true.
So this is for all of YOU out there.

Day 15
* A picture of something you want to do before you die.
Again...I'm probably super predictable. But hey, at least I'm consistent, right?
Not only do I want to complete my first marathon, but I want to get good enough to qualify to race in the Boston Marathon. The marathon of all marathons. A whole intense 26.2 miles with some of the craziest, fastest, coolest, runners in the world.
Um. Kind of awesome. I know.
Nextly. I am actually terrified of heights. But someday, I would really like to get out of that and jump out of a freaking airplane.
Yes.
Also super intense and awesome.

I'm kind of behind...
* A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
I feel like this is getting a bit repetative for you guys. And you probably can already guess my response to this one:

My family. This picture was actually taken at my Dad's wedding. So the baby I'm holding is actually my neice McKenna, and not my Little C. It's crazy how much time can change things. I'm also kind of tan...which hasn't happened in a looooong time. Ha.

Day 13
*A picture of your favorite band or artist.*
Mine change all the time. So right now I really like Florence & the Machine.
And Mumford & Sons.
I know. Who am I?
Good times.

* A picture of something you love*
How can I pick one?
You all know that I love my Robby.
And my Little C.
And my Winnie.
But what you may not know, is that I also love pickle juice. MMMMM.

Day 11
*A picture of something you hate.*
True story. I hate Sleeping Beautry. A cartoon meant for children. Yep, I have never liked it. Going on 20+ years of hating this movie.

Day 10
SO, I'm not really sure if anyone is actually reading these. Because no one EVER comments on this blog. I promise, I am friendly. I am trying hard here. Come on now.
*Day 10-Post a picture of the person you do the most messed up things with.
Hands down:
D-Max. All the way. Ok..she's D-Bent now, but anyway. Let's just say, we are NOT afraid to let loose. She may kill me for this, but we may or may not have rolled down the windows of my car while driving down the Vegas Strip screaming pop songs. I'm pretty sure it would have been too loud and obnoxious to actually be called singing. So we are going with screaming. Yep. Not afraid. :)
Love ya' Darci!
If you want to read about 7 random things from my life, and about a blog award I got, GO HERE.

Day 9
*A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.
That girl right there. Whitney, my younger sib. I can talk to her about anything, and she never judges me. She is very open minded. She is also very wise for her years. She's only 19 and can often teach me a life lesson or two, believe it or not. Since our parents split, we have really bonded and confide in each other often. Even if it's just to talk about nonsense. For instance, some crazy woman cutting either of us off during the commute home (it's always a woman...always), which seems to happen all too often to W. :)
Day 8
* A picture that makes you laugh.
Every. Time. Robby took this picture while I was out running errands. She just looks like such a goof. Her hair is all wild, and she has such a funny look on her face. We both crack up every time we see it. I know, I'm kind of obsessed with my baby. I can't help it.

Day 7
* A picture of your most treasured item.
My C Baby FOR SURE. I don't really get attached to things, and I tend to get rid of them pretty quickly. I dejunk on a regular basis. Maybe too often...Husband made a comment last time I made him go through his closet. "Didn't we just do this when we moved??" And yes we did but,we still have things that we don't use!
My Caydence definitely takes the cake. I love that baby. She's adorable on top of that. And I know I look like death in that picture. I'm not cute first thing in the morning. I know this, so let's all pretend that I am.

Day 6
* A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
Ok. Maybe not Barak Obama per say. He just happens to be our current President...I can't say he's my favorite. But, what would it be like to be the freaking President of the United States for a day?? What, What?
Day 5...I know. I'm behind.
Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. My life has been SUPER busy. Little C got blessed. Family. And I was sick yesterday. But I am catching up today!!
* Day 5-A Picture of your favorite memory.
Basically any memory that includes my sisters and I doing wierd things is my favorite memory. In this picture, me N, W, and the kidlets took a trip to the Monty L. Bean Museum. We had a good time posing with all of the animals. There are LOTS. :)

**A picture of my night**
Some of you may have already seen these photos on my other blog, but this is what I was doing last night:
Some of you may have already seen these photos on my other blog, but this is what I was doing last night:
Taking award pictures of myself in an effort to earn some credit in the blogging world.
No. Winston is not crotching me, and I am not about to pee my pants.
HAPPY FRIDAY!
Thursday, March 3, 2011
We went on a trip...
...and we wanted to keep it as cheap as possible so we stayed in a kind of not so fancy motel.
This is what we encountered.
A. Eagle picture #1. Also note the creepy wall paper.
B. Me with a ridiculous face and eagle #2.
C. Smaller but even more majestic eagle #3.
D. Now we have motivational eagle #4.
E. Baby mural eagle #5.
F. The mighty bald eagle #6.
G. Big brother eagle #7.
H. The only non-eagle picture in the entire room.
We lived with 7 eagles over the weekend. I bet you can't say you've done that before, huh? Did I mention these were all in our maybe 250 sq. ft room?
Anyway, the rest of our trip included some running, which can be found over HERE, and a lot of bad weather and lounging around. Pretty uneventful.
Day 3
Didn't get around to that "other posting" as you can see.
But, I am here for the challenge, and that is what matters.
Day 3 - A picture of the cast from my favorite T.V. show.
....my reasons.
1) Look at them. You can't tell me you don't want to watch THAT with for 50 minutes once a week.
2) Jensen Ackles (The short haired one) is my TV boyfriend. Don't worry, Husband is ok with it. ;)
3) The show itself is actually good. It's kind of creepy, and a little funny. It's got everything.
If you would like to watch it, I would recommend getting started from the very beginning. It will help make sense of everything that is going down. I have Season 1 & 2. :D

Day 2...and I actually have other things to post.
So maybe I'll actually get around to that later.
Hopefully.
Day 2 of my 30 Day Blog Challenge.
**A picture of the person I have been closest with the longest.**
This is a tough one for me. There are like three people who make this list. I can't pick just one, and I won't pick just one, because they are all very important to me. So I will start with the first:

Mr. Husband. I know. It's cheesy. But not only am I married to this guy, but we are BFF's. He's not afraid to tell me how it is, and set me straight. I love that about him.
Next is definitely my Sibs. Somehow, after a ridiculous amount of grueling hours in the car en route to family vacations, we still like each other. Amazing, right? We have been through a lot together, and we are better people for it. I don't think I look like I belong to my family. N & W totally have a resemblance of each other...but me. Not so much. What do you think?
Mmmmk! Hopefully I will be able to get some St. George vacation re-cap up in here. Pray for me.

30 Day Blog Challenge
Alright my friends. In an effort to keep this blog more updated. Because I have been slacking on it a bit. I am participating in the 30 Day Blog Challenge. Go HERE for more info.
Basically it's a challenge to post every day with a picture for 30 days. I'm determined! Plus, it should be fun.
Here is a preview:
30 day blog Challenge
I thought of starting a 30 day blog challenge.
You are to post a picture to go along with the list.
This is going to start March 1st so you can link up when we start and share with your friends :)
The List:
Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts
Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest
Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show
Day 04 - A picture of your night
Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory
Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day
Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most
....and so on and so forth.....
Ok. Here goes. Day 1 of 30. A picture of myself and 10 facts.
1. I love my Winston puppy like he is an actual person. I swear he has doggy ESP and understands me.
2. As my blog title suggests, I am very Impulsive. Random thoughts come to me, and I have a very hard time not acting on them. Today for instance, "I think I need laser hair removal. Ok. I MUST have laser hair removal. I WANT IT NOW!". I still think I need it, and am considering telling Husband I want it for my birthday. :)
3. I pretend to be a strong and confident person because I'm hoping someday it will rub off and I'll actually become one.
4. I've glazed over this several times, but I am very, very, VERY sarcastic. I often think that because of my often condescending and sarcastic nature, people find me unapproachable and a little intimidating. When in reality, I'm kind of a nice person. I'm a softee, really.
5. Going along with the above fact, I have a hard time telling people "No". I don't like to disappoint people, and I really, really want to be accepted and loved by others. So if you asked me to bake 20 dozen cookies for tomorrow's super baby extravaganza, I would probably say yes. Now that you know that, don't take advantage of me! ;)
6. I am 5' 7". Kind of a taller person. I am just a couple inches shorter than Husband. I always wear flats so I don't tower over him.
7. I think this is a given, but I am totally obsessed with running. You can follow my running journey HERE.
8. I love gummy candy. All of it.
9. I am a stress eater. I will eat anything in site.
10. I LOVE my Little C-bot! I miss her like crazy while I'm at work.
MMk. So that, is that. I hope you are all still with me. :D
