Ok I know I am blogging like crazy.  Maybe it is because I have time--hehe!  Not really, my to-do list today is longer than all the hours in the day, but I just received these pictures and they are so cute!  There are two guys in our ward that are 18 and 19.  One is heading on a mission (Devin) in a couple of weeks and the other (Jacob) is heading off to BYU in a couple of days.  Then there are some cute little baby boys.  One named Devin, (my perfectly adorable son) and my friend, Amy's (if you can believe it) son Jacob.  My Devin is 16 months and her Jacob is almost a year.  Well before the big boys headed off we wanted to get a picture of the 4 of them together.  Big Jacob and Devin are best friends and who knows maybe our little guys will be too!  Here you go.

Here are some first day pictures for your viewing pleasure!  :)
We got everyone on the bus and settled in their classrooms. Apparently 3rd grade is too old to get a picture with your teacher in your classroom.  We'll have to wait until the Christmas party, I suppose or just deal with the class picture in the spring.  Anyway, the kids are excited and nervous and Devin is walking around wondering what he supposed to do now. 
Kylie got picked up around 7:40 and then David I walked the other kids to school.  We met up with Sally and the kids were excited to be able to walk with their friends. 
Kylie has the same teacher and classroom as last year and there are only 3 kids in her class for now, which is nice.  Dallin ended up with Emily's first grade teachers.  (There are two for his class, they are the two reading recovery teachers, when they are not teaching his class.)  They LOVED Emily and they are super excited to have Dallin.  We loved them and are excited for him.  In third grade, you switch classrooms for math and science.  Emily doesn't have any Church friends in her class this year, but her math and science teacher I went to school with.  We were both on dance team and everything.  We went all the way through since elementary school.  She was a grade ahead of me and I didn't know her well, but that is still cool, I think.  We also found out that Emily is a filler kid in the GT (gifted and talented) class, which is great.  It will push her more and I am really excited to see how much she will learn.  Well, that's about it.  I, of course, am nervous about their first day and will they remember to turn everything in and lunch accounts and all of it, but I'm sure they will come home happy and full of stories--well I'm off (to fully enjoy myself and Devin!!)

It's 8:30pm.  The backpacks are packed.  The reading logs printed.  The forms filled out.  The lunch fixin's purchased.  The summer math calendars complete.  The clothes laid out.  The breakfast banana muffins baked.  The scriptures read.  The prayers said.  The doors closed.  The smile on my face...

numbers

I'm not one of those big weight bloggers, "hey look at me, I lost a half pound!  Wahoo!"  Main reason is I am not all that great at being consistent, and I don't want the pressure...That being said when I got pregnant with my little guy I put on a whopping 38 pounds.  Today it is officially all gone.  Ok, I know it took me 16 months, but in my defense I didn't try one bit until around this February and then I didn't get serious until I weaned him in May.  So Yay!  But don't worry, I am not satisfied, yet.  There is the pesky issue of the 8-10 pounds I've held on to since I had kylie.  It was my ice cream (I have to put up with all this chaotic) life relief fund--Well, no more...I'm trying at least--we'll see.

Teeth, Tenth and Toast...

Well my sweet little buddy has decided to have 4 teeth come through over the last 6 days.  He's been great during the days, a little fussy after dinner and then he goes to bed.  No big deal.  Around comes about 10:30pm.  He begins crying, then he gets hysterical, then he reaches the level of "some monster is biting off my arms"...so we get him out of bed.  Then he eats and plays and eats and plays until 1am.  One night it lasted until 2:30am.  I am tired.  Tylenol, Motrin, nothing helped.  It was weird.  I am tired.  Last night, though he loved us again and wanted to give us a very sweet present.  He didn't wake up at all!!!  Yay!  I looked in his mouth this morning and guess what?  All four teeth finally poked through!  Yay again!
So, what could the present be for????  Our 10th Anniversary!

Happy 10th on the 10th to us!  We have had great times and very hard times, but we are in love and when you block out the chaos life is still really good.

To celebrate such a momentous occasion, my sweet older two decided to put me in my room and make breakfast.  (David had already left for work.)  Those sweet kids scrambled an egg for me and burnt a piece of toast.  The smell was ghastly and I almost headed to the kitchen, but thought better of it and waited.  They brought me a tray with a piece of perfectly toasted toast and an egg and a napkin cut into a heart.  They are adorable.  They also decided to pour their own cereal and even gave cereal, banana and Nilla Wafers to the younger ones.  Odd combination, but super sweet!  I love all my kiddos so much and I love and cherish my sweetheart!

My g-tube girl ate black beans and raw red pepper and guacamole in speech therapy today!!!!!! I am so excited!! Normal food!!!
