Today (and 4am yesterday)

Yesterday, Mark and I got up at 3:30 and went to Black Friday at Circuit City. This is the first time I've ever done anything like it, and we did for a laptop which we really wanted. We ended up getting the exact model we wanted, and so did the people that got there at 10pm the night before... Black Friday line standing is a great lesson in humanity and what people will do for a deal, and how they will act. It was really interesting, but probably the last time I will do it.

Today all we did was go to the mall....but it was so much more then that.

Austin and Ryleigh visited St. Nick, we continued our Hallmark ornament tradition, this year with Ryleigh picking which ornament she would like (hint to any China adopters out there, they have an adorable little 2 ornament set with a pagoda and a Chinese girl, seriously cute). Austin chose a Star Wars ornament (of course) and Ryleigh chose a Mickey Mouse ornament. Very cute.

Then, we went to the pet store to pick out a new fish (we had death on Thanksgiving) and Austin got to hold the tarantula. What a brave guy!!

Some pics from the last few weeks. I find myself slowing down with the camera, and enjoying the moment more. That might be because we are 11, yes ELEVEN days away from Disneyland and San Diego. Austin has been counting down for about 43 days now.

Here are some recent pictures....fun stuff around here!! Fixing the washing machine with daddy....hiking along the Garapata Creek.....cub scouts are FUN (Uhhh, did I mention that somehow I volunteered to be a Den Mother? YIKES).

Three weeks until the grand annual Disneyland extravaganza. This time we are adding in Legoland and Sea World and a weekend visit with our friends Heidi and Todd!!!
