Bethany Cheer Leading Dream Comes True!

Bethany came home from school and showed me a paper for a cheer leading camp.  She was so excited and has always wanted to try it.  I decided it would be okay because it was only a one day camp and then they would get to perform what they had learned at half time during a high school basketball game.  It was perfect and Bethany had a great time trying out cheer leading.

This was her favorite dance.  She especially liked the part where they rolled their hips.

Ben's 3rd Birthday!

Ben might be 3 but he thinks he is 14. He loves football because his oldest brother Scott loves football. Whenever the big boys are outside playing he is always right there ready to play too. When they try to explain that he is too little he doesn't want to hear it. They try to play with him but I usually have to go out and distract him or intervene which isn't easy to do without breaking his little heart.

Ben is a good little bike rider and will be starting preschool this fall. He is so excited to go to school like the other kids do! We love you and the energy you bring to the house!

Sam's 5th Birthday

Sam is 5!  Sam is a sweet cuddly boy and loves everything, just ask him he'll tell you! He is quite the chatter box.  His excitement in everything he does is contagious and at times he can't contain it and will start jumping up and down and clapping.

 Sam requested airplane cakes. I made him these cute little cupcakes and when he saw them he "loved" them of course but he didn't understand where his real cake was.  Apparently a little while before that he asked for a pumpkin cake and in his mind the airplanes were supposed to be in addition to that cake.

 He said it so nicely with his cute little smile and contagious excitement that I got right on making him his pumpkin cake to go along with the airplanes!
