Halloween!

We had such a fun halloween week!! Monday night we went to Chatfield high school for a trick or treat night. So awesome! All of the H.S. kids decorated the classrooms in all different, very creative themes and handed out candy to the kids. They also had tons of games for the kids to do.  The kids loved it! Then on Wednesday night we had our ward trunk-or-treat.  We decorated our car and passed out candy. On Halloween we got to hang out with out friends the Allen's. They have a boy Trysten's age and a boy that's Kyson's age, and a girl in Gavin's class at school, plus a sweet little baby girl and a fourth grade boy.  They are such a great family, and we are glad we have become friends! We had pizza and went trick-or-treating together. Our neighborhood really gets into halloween here! We went down one street and got tons of candy!! The kids had a lot of fun. 

The school here is absolutely wonderful too! They do halloween parties where the kids get to dress up in their costumes and do a parade around the school! It was adorable.  The principal here is amazing too. He was leading the whole parade. You can tell that he just loves and cares about the kids so much.

The neighbors are all so friendly here!  They have all brought us yummy goodies and stuff! We are very lucky :)

Nana was here for a few days and we loved it! We all went on a haunted hayride together, it was so much fun!! We will definitely have to do it again next year!

Colorado!! A new adventure :)

We are now here in Colorado!! Our new home. So far we are really enjoying it here. We took four days to drive here so we weren't all driving each other crazy in the car. ;-). Here are some pictures of the trip:

We stopped and spent a day in Salt Lake City. It was so beautiful and the kids really  enjoyed it. Just love it there!!

Our trip to Country Mercantile!

We decided to go last minute with the cousins and Trysten's friend Logan to Country Mercantile. It was our last weekend here in the Tri-cities and we wanted to spend it with the ones we love! Here are some pictures from our fun evening:

Trysten was scared to go on a couple of the rides but we paid him money and we finally got him to go!! Ha ha!��. We would never be able to go on any rides at Disney world if he won't go on these ones!

Trysten's School Musical

Every year Trysten's school does a big musical event called "The Big Shoe."  Each grade does a song and some sort of routine or dance.  The steel drum brand plays and kids ride around on their unicycles and walk on stilts.  It's pretty fun to watch!  And of course since Trysten loves music he really gets into it.  It's so much fun watching him.

This is hilarious, Trysten was waiting to sing and he starts goofing off with his friends and bustin some moves.

I tried downloading the other video of Trysten waving his flag and singing "God Bless America" but it must have been too big because it didn't work. :(   So that's all you get I guess. :)

I put up pictures of different dragons and laminated them, then I bought those sticky hand toys that you throw and they stick to the wall (I don't know what they are called) and the kids ran around "catching" the dragons with them.  I didn't quite know how well this game would go with the kids but they LOVED it and could have played for hours.

We borrowed Uhma's bouncy house, filled it with balloons, and everyone took turns running and jumping in it.
