Christmas Morning:

Tina's 1st Duck Hunt

Okay, so I am glad HP has some good wholesome hobbies like hunting and fishing, but I never really thought I would enjoy them so much myself. Well, we were lucky enough to have a friend watch the kids while I went with HP Duck Hunting. I can honestly say, I had a blast! I was dressed warm enough so it was quite enjoyable! We limited out quickly and unbelievably one of the last shots he took actually took down 2 birds! I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't there to have seen it! It was a memorable trip. . . my honey the Hunter, Gotta Love Him!

Halloween "09

Halloween was a blast. We went to Utah and spent Halloween with family. We went to a fun Halloween Party and the kids went Trick or Treating with their Grandpa Matthews.

Pumpkin Carving "09

Pumpkin Carving was a lot of fun. Brayden tried to eat the markers, but he really enjoyed coloring his pumpkins! Alivia and Austin made theirs really unique with a help from Daddy.

Twin Falls Summer Fair

We had a blast at the summer fair here in Twin. Austin got a kick out of the Horses and Brayden enjoyed the sheep and cows. Alivia had fun on the rides and she got to see her favorite animal. . . SHEEP! Austin looks a bit squeemish on the roller coaster, I thought it was for little kids, NOPE he was on the regular one. I think it scared him a bit, check out the picture whatch think?

Gotta love 3 year olds, I never would have thought to ask him any of these, but I am glad I did!

Soccer Time

I can officially say I am a "Soccer Mom"! Alivia started soccer this week. She loves it. I am glad she is meeting new girls and getting exercise while having fun. I can tell all the moms know eachother and are good friends, I guess there are "clicks" everywhere you go. ha, I told HP "there's all these moms that sit together and talk and laugh and then there is me and oh yeah a grandma." ha It's still fun. I am staying busy there trying to keep Brayden off the field and away from the soccer balls. Fun times!

1st Day Back To School

Alivia was all ready for school. We went clothes shopping just she and I and we really enjoyed that. That was getting her really anxious for the big day. She kept asking me, Mom were you excited to start 1st grade? Of course I told her "yes, I loved it!"

We went to the open house and met her teacher and checked out her class. She is so so excited about having her own desk. For all you moms you remember in kindergarten they have about 4-5 kids around one table. So she is feeling pretty big and special that she has her own desk and can keep everything she buys for school. She put her name on all her folders and picked out cool pencils. I am so excited for her.

Well, I was planning on taking the day off of babysitting so I could take Liv to school, but she informed me that she was not nervous this time because she had been to school before and she wanted to ride the bus to school. I was a little sad, but happy too that she was confident and wanted to do it all by herself.

"80's Party!"

Our neighbor had an 80's party for his birthday. We had a blast. There was good food and great friends. Tara, Christina, Andrea, Kellie

Jacki's Wedding

The newly married Jacki and Justin Hobbs. . . The wedding was great. They were married in the Draper, Utah Temple. It was beautiful inside, as all LDS Temples are. Alivia was one of the Flower Girls, and she felt like a beautiful Princess in her new Red dress. Every time she would walk by someone she would smile and slowly walk by showing off her dress. We had a great time, dancing at the reception and enjoying the beauty of the wedding decorations. We really think Justin is a great guy and welcome him in the family with open arms.Mike and Christina
