Spring Sports have started!!

Its hard to get a good picture with all the action going on but Amber is the one in the light blue. :)

Well its almost spring and the spring sports have begun!! Amber has decided to try something new this year...soccer...yay! lol  She plays with the East Duplin Soccer Club and she is so excited about it. We were too because we had never been to a soccer game before. All I can say is wow, what action!

Oh and lets dont forget softball that is right around the corner and practices for that should start any time now. Oh what busy times we have ahead.

 Our youngest child Amber is a part of her Jr High School Beta Club! (Oh how proud we are!!) Last week they had to go perform at the Beta Convention in Greensboro NC. Woohoo!! It was a fun filled weekend/week with lots of hustle and bustle. I could not believe my eyes, I had never seen soooo many Jr High School students in one place in my whole life! We did enjoy it though, all the talent in one big ballroom. WOW!!!
     Now let me tell you, I have stayed in alot of motels in my life but the one we all had to stay in was a huge one, 28 floors. (oh my) Luckily we ended up on the 11th floor with everyone from our school so it was alot of fun for us and the kids. I did not however realize that riding up and down the elevators would send me home with the worse case of vertigo I have ever had. OH NO!!! After a week of medication I can now take the time to look at the computer with out too much dizziness. YAY!
     Even with all that said I can not wait till next years competition. Make note- I will bring meds with me for vertigo lol. We had so much fun it was worth it. Just watching Amber compete and have fun made it worth it. Stay Tuned........Now we prepare for the Battle Of The Books competition in Kenansville! Go Amber!!!

Spirit Week at School!!

    

 Hi all! Its Febuary and spirit week is upon us! Yay! I thought I would share a cute picture of my youngest all ready for school on Wacky Tacky Day!! Keep in mind that this is my used to be tomboy. She is definately breaking out of her shell.

Snow In The South

     We have had the coldest fall and winter that I can remember. Normally down south where we live there maybe be a dusting of snow at the most if we are lucky. This year we have had 2 snow storms with in a month's time not only that but both times it's lasted 7 days. Whew. I love to see the snow come but I am surely glad to see it go. Now if only spring would show up early this year!                                                                                

How we became the Mobley Bunch.........

Welcome to our blog spot! Where to begin, lets see...I came up with the name because we are a bunch. There are seven of us all together. Oh yeah! I did say seven!! My name is Joy, darling hubby is Greg, we have 5 children between us, mine, yours, and ours haha. Troy is 24, Crystal 22, Candice 21, Alex 18, and then there is Amber she is 11. Unfortunately it is very unlikely to find us all together at the same time and place. Most of the time that happens only on special occasions.Anyway, that's how we make " The Mobley Bunch".
