It's what fun is........Lagoon!

After the fun at Treehouse we went to Lagoon on Monday. Oh my heck. Xavier loved the big people rides but he was too short for some of them. He really enjoyed the bumper cars and Tidal Wave. He laughed on every ride from pure fun and enjoyment. You can't really capture that on camera but I tried. Xavier is just like his daddy. Russ loves spinning and roller coasters. I'm not a ride person. Wy was fine with the little driving cars (not bumper cars) and the boats that float around. That was about it. We tried him on some of the other rides. He cried and then when he got off he smiled and said, "that fun!"

My aunt Marene was able to come with us. The last time I was at Lagoon with her I was 12! Russ sure missed out on all the fun!

Treehouse Museum

My family had a reunion at Eden/Wolf Creek over Father's Day. Russ stayed home and worked and camped with the scouts. We went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. It is so cool!! Check out their site at http://www.treehousemuseum.org/. There are tons of things for the kids to do and dress up as. They were fire fighters, German kids, Mexican kids, Chinese kids, President of the USA, musicians, Royal Knights, etc. There were hands on activities and crafts to make. Huge blocks to knock down. A stuffed bear to ride. Too much fun under one roof! It kept the kids entertained for several hours. My 2 year old neice loved the Britian room because of the huge tea party!! They had a slide in a tree trunk that Xavier loved. We happened to go on a free day which makes it even better.

ducks, fish and turtles

For family night June 9 we fed the ducks at the St George Golf Course. But instead of the ducks getting the bread, there were these huge red fish that took it all. Then we saw turtles trying to get the bread but the fish were too fast. The ducks were either annoyed or scared of the fish because they wouldn't come near the bread. So Russ warmed up his softball arm and threw bread across the water to the ducks.
