What have been the best things you have done this year?

Swimming. I love swimming.

What would you liked to have done more of? 

I like watching tv.  And I want a pool.  When are you going to get me a pool in the ground?

What is your favorite animal?

Totally zebra and a kangaroo.

What didn’t you do that you wish you had?

Painted my nails.  I really wanted to paint my own nails.

What is your favorite color?

Purple and pink and blue.

In what way have you changed this year?

I had a booboo on my lip and it lasted for a really long, long time.

What is your favorite restaurant?

That Chinese place where we get dim sum (Quirin Court).

What areas have you improved in?

Gymnastics. I’m kinda getting good at it.

What were the things you didn’t like most this year? 

Doing school work.  I only like doing it with Gramma.

What is your favorite candy?

Starburst-es and the Swedish fish and the type of candy that Daddy likes and Rolos.

What do you hope will change next year?

Going to Apple Creek for preschool

What is your favorite vacation spot?

California.  Totally, it would be California.

If you were talking to children who are going to start home schooling, what would you say to them?

Nothing. Home schooling is a good thing to do. I don’t know. 

What will your favorite memory of this school year be?

Someone painting my nails, going to church, going to a new church on a visit, and hmm…what else? Eating breakfast, because you’re supposed to feed us.

What is your favorite thing to do during your quiet time alone?

Playing on Sophie’s iPod and messing around.  Sometimes, I mess around. (FYI – she’s supposed to be napping and Sophie’s iPod Touch is always off limits, because she has her own ancient hand me down iPod nano.)

What do you look forward to doing this summer?

Going to different camps, playing on Sophie’s iPods, and having a birthday party for Scottie.

What is your favorite video game to play?

iPods

If you had a whole day off to do anything, what would you do?

Go on vacation to different places, like where they have ballerina stuff and they have real ballerina shoes on.

Doc McStuffins, and Octonauts, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I don’t really know.  Like a super hero. I really want to fly in the sky.

I don’t know.  But do you know what makes me laugh?  When people tickle me.

Peanut butter and jelly and peanut butter in honey sandwiches.  I like them half-half.

Learn how to times, because that’s a really good way to do math.  Like 8 times 4 is 32.

Mom spilling her water on her shirt when she was drinking. (That happened as I was asking this question)

I got better at the hard addition, the problems with lots of place values. I learned how to make it easier and faster.

My hair grows long again.  I like it short, but I want it to be long again soon.

If you were talking to children who are going to start home schooling, what would you say to them?

You have a lot more time to finish your work. There aren’t a bunch of people that know the answer, so you can have a chance to answer the question.  You get to spend a lot of time with your family.

Going on field trips with friends.

Sweet little Buddy graduated from Kindergarten this weekend.  We had our fingers crossed the whole year.  It was touch and go.  Will he?  Won't he?  I mean, Kindergarten is tough stuff.  :)

Thanks to Aunti Bekah and Papa for coming in to celebrate with him.  

The kids all chose part of Kindergarten they enjoyed that could be represented by a letter in the alphabet.  Buddy chose "K" for the karate classes he took and did a karate chop.  He thought that was great. The other Kindergarteners thought it was great, too. 

 

 Fingers crossed that this isn't the last time we see him participate in a graduation ceremony! *LOL*

Did I mention that there was a chocolate fountain?  Big hit with the littles.  The adults mostly stayed away from it...since kids are kinda gross with stuff like that!

This week, I found out that Pollyanna is a hacker.  

 We knew that she had hacked Don's password on his new phone, but it was juvenile and a complete joke.  So, he changed it.  Two hours later, Polly came downstairs jamming to Kimbra on Don's phone. He said, "How did you get into my phone?  I had it locked!"  She smiled and said she had learned his new password, by watching him type it in over his shoulder.  He didn't believe her, so he locked it and had her try to get in.  Of course, she was able to.  Duh, Don.  My child has mad skills.

Yesterday, the mother of Scott's best friend told us that Polly had changed the background on her iPhone.  I laughed and said, "You shouldn't let her use your phone!" to which she replied that Polly knows which pocket in her purse she keeps her phone in and that though she has a password to lock it, but Polly must have figured it out.  That's street smarts, y'all. 


Don said she's more of a social engineering hacker, not a hardcore hacker.  He says it with a smile, because he's so proud. I think peeps should keep a better eye on their phones. I think folks should come up with harder passwords. Just sayin'...hate the game, ya'll, don't hate the player. She's too stinkin' cute.
