Fun at HangTime with Cousins

We had a GREAT time at HangTime a trampoline place in Orem. The place was a huge warehouse full of trampolines. Tom and Rob even got in on all the fun. The kids were busy jumping and flying into the air for the whole two hours we were there.

These two OLD guys sure looked tired. They were both non-stop jumpers as well. They kept talking about how they weren't looking forward to how they were gonna feel in the morning. haha.

Highlight was the tight rope. Rob and Tom both took it as a personal challenge to cross this without crashing to the ground. Surprising they did well - I think Tom made it almost across while Rob focused on falling off quickly and safely.

The kids (little kids) also had a fun time on the tight rope, there was a practice tight rope near by that didn't seem so intimidating with a 6-inch drop.

Karlee LOVED the feeling of falling into the foam squares - We will definitely be back!

Celebrating Dad's 65th birthday

My dad turned 65 this year and lucky us we got to celebrate with him. They came back up to spend a couple more days with Kaye and her kids. All us kids left the kids in good hands (Abbey and Tai) and off we went to Olive Garden for a yummy lunch. It was fun to visit and enjoy some yummy food. We came back to Spanish Fork and celebrated with the kiddos with some pie and ice cream.

Not sure how I got stuck with the reddi-whip...the kids all had their turns and I'm sure they enjoyed it much much more. ☺

Grizzly Hockey and more fun.

We enjoyed time with cousins on Martian Luther King Monday (no school). We met up with Troy's kids, along with Austin at Costco for a little lunch. We visited with grandma and papa before they drove back to home after a fun weekend.

After lunch we went to watch a Hockey game over at the Maverick Center. The Grizzly's played against the Idaho Steelheads. It was a fun game to watch and all the kids had a good time too.

These boys were super cute and had a great time.

The fun wasn't over because we walked across the road and continued the fun and entertainment at Hollywood Connections.

Alaskan Cousins come to visit.

We were all so excited with Kaye called and told us that she was flying down to go to a friends wedding and better yet she was bringing Malia and Tyler. Karlee was super excited and counted down the days.

We had a lot of fun while they were here.

Malia and Karlee loved playing Little Pet Shops and spent hours playing with Malia's new pet shops.

Karlee vs. the Rubber-band

Karlee was quietly playing with one of her games, when she came up to me and said (covering her face with hands) "Are you gonna be mad?" (that's her new question if she's done something sneaky. haha). I said to her "Um probably not, why?". She uncovered her face and then showed me this huge welt on her cheek. I was kinda shocked and first thought that she had been bit by a spider, but she said that she was playing with a rubber-band and that the rubber-band and flipped up and smacked her in the face. She didn't cry just said that it surprised her. 

We got her an ice pack and she was on her way to feeling better. When I asked how she had done it she said she was putting the rubber-band between her toes and then pulling it back towards her head. Guess this time her toe let go and the rubber-band came back to hit her in the cheek. The welt wasn't on her face too long.

However it did leave a red mark on her cheek. It was in the shape of the top of a heart. It was pretty darn cute to look at her sweet face and see a little heart imprint on her cheek. Poor girl. It was pretty much gone the next morning.
