How Else Would We Say Farewell?

Our last night at the beach was filled with all kinds of fun. We went and played some more putt-putt.

After a few holes Sam joined Troy in the stroller for a nice snack of goldfish.

Of course after our round of putt-putt we headed over to Krispy Kreme. The Hot & Now sign was on and we couldn't resist!

Sam's favorite part was watching the donuts flip over but I think Troy would have licked the glass watching the glorious glaze waterfall.

Go Fly A Kite

While at the beach Josh bought a kite and one night after supper we headed back to the beach with Pappa to try it out.

Sam had a great time watching the kite. This was probably the best kite flying venture I have had. We let out all the string and the kite was so high!

Malphrus Family Beach Trip '09

The second week in June (I'm way behind in posting) we went to the beach with Mimi & Pappa. We were joined by my Aunt Brenda & Aunt Elizabeth. We had a great time and the boys loved all things beach & pool. Here we are enjoying the sand & a few waves.

Sam had a great time jumping over waves & building sand castles. He also enjoyed the pools and jumping in the water. He is turning into quite the swimmer.

Troy enjoyed walking in the sand & "jumping" over the waves. He was a big fan of the lazy river although most of the time he was sleeping while we were floating around.


One morning we were able to catch lots of sand fleas. Sam & Troy liked holding them & feeling them tickle their hands.

Some of our good friends were at the beach the same week. They invited us over to their resort one morning to enjoy the fabulous kids water park. Thanks Iveys & Hendersons! Josh & Sam going down one of the water slides.
