Hello friends. :)
This is by far the only weekday I've blogged since school started. Have been real busy. Just had this feeling to blog today. So yeah, here goes. Nothing much to say. Just some random words perhaps? I'll update about the past few days. Things I remember of that is.

So on Sunday, had the very first Patrol Meeting. But it was only Tinee, Belle and I as the rest are unable to attend due to specific reasons. So yeah, it was one funny meeting. We talked a lot. Gossiped a little too actually. Well, that's what girls do best. Couldn't be blamed. So after meeting, had dinner and mum suggested that we went to Queens. Looked around, more to window shopping until I spotted a dress. Thankfully, they had the right size and that makes it mine now. Hehe Yep, it's the one above.

Monday was just normal. School and then it was Physics tuition. Don't really like the teacher. Idk why whenever he makes his silly jokes, there are still people who would laugh. I'd just grin like a Cheshire cat. Haha. Starting Feb onwards, my coming monday(s) would be even more packed. Will be having to tuitions on this day. Hmm.

Then it was Tuesday. School like usual and I was supposed to have BM tuition. All set to leave the house and then phone rang. Apparently, tuition was cancelled because the sir's mum had passed away. Felt sorry for him but anyhow, I carried on with my school work till it was near bed time.

Wednesday; school school school! School's actually quite fun. Except those stressful moments esp when the teacher is teaching something totally new to us. But we often keep ourselves entertained with our stupid jokes. I am sure people would think we're some weird creatures laughing when there's nothing funny. But to us, it really is. Haha.

Today; Thursday was one long long day. School, choir, Account's tuition. Got back home at about 7. Luckily, no homework from school! ;D

As for tomorrow, will be having Edboard meeting followed by house prac. And then Bm tuition at night. It's a new one. Haven't been there before. Might be heading over to Nessa's bbq too later on.
Gotta stop here! Amazing Race has started! GO marc and rovilson!

Birthday SOON, banana! :D

Getting used to it..

Hello! I'm back with another post after such a long time! Have been real BUSY! I don't remember exactly what I had been doing all week. But it was definitely filled with times at school, times at tuition and some time at home. I'll try to recall a lil. So here it is,

Monday - School until 2.40, came home and rested. Off to tuition and then home, packed and got ready for school the next day!

Tuesday - After school, went to get some stuff that I'll be needing for camp. Headed to town, bought almost everything, went back home and fell flat. So tired.

Wednesday - HAPPY THAIPUSAM everybody! At least a day off. Very much appreciated.

Thursday - Had choir prac after school. During choir, had a little chat with my ex-classmates. It was really nice talking to them. Good to know they are doing good in their new class. ;) At night, I watched Amazing Race Asia and I really have to stress on how good looking Marc is! Seriously. Model okay!? Haha.

Friday - School ends at 12 today! :D After school, had Rangers meeting. They gave us time to take our second class tests. Did the Kim's game again although I've done it before. We were given 3 minutes to look at 30 items and we're supposed to list at least 25 correctly and I got 26. Haha. Later on, went for house prac. Skipped tuition due to the congested traffic flow. Went home and now I'm sitting here, talking to my bloggie.

Will be having 7km hike tomorrow with my fellow teammates! Lydia is our beloved PL and she's so nice by preparing everything for us! Love, love. Haha. Wish us luck! And no, we are not gonna fail, Lyd. We are gonna finish it fast instead! :D

Define it.

Some time last week.

People always say family is a first and all those. How much you're supposed to love each other. Be understanding and not forgetting to be tolerant with each other. Pure crap I tell you. Doesn't happen in my family at all. While I'm typing this, tears are streaming down mum's face. I seriously think that there's some kind of psychotic problem in my family. Alright, grandma's crying as well. Can't blame myself if i end up turning into a psycho too. So much for growing up in a stupid environment like this.

I clearly understand my grandma's side of story. But mum has her point too. Why can't they both just sit down and have a good talk? Most problems have solutions to it i believe. Well, at least this one surely does. But noo, they have to scream their lungs out at each other and start crying to be satisfied.

What worries me most is mum. I know she's done with chemo and all but the cells might come back. And if it does, it's gonna be real bad. A person's emotions very much affects the reoccurence of the cancer cells as far as I am concerned. Mum is supposed to be living happily but instead she's sad, worried and having a very hard time. So she claims. As a daughter, I am really concerned. I know I should go console her or something. That's the least I could do but I feel kind of shy to do so. I have this something in me that the more I care for someone, the harder it is for me to show it.

Then again, grandma was saying that grandpa couldn't sleep last night. He was saying that he tries so hard to earn a happy living for the family yet no one really appreciates him. Hmm.
I really don't know what I can do. Just hoping things will get better in time to come. That mum would be able to cheer up and live a happier life. This will only add to another one of my worries until everything turns out fine. Guess this is what life is all about.

Define it. Define family, anyone?

I've been thinking..

Hello all =) It is Friday and it is usually the best day for me in the whole long and tedious week. I had just signed off MSN. Thought I was going to head to my sweet or perhaps not so sweet dreamland. Until, I decided to write a short post. There's so much running through my mind right now.

4 things actually. Two of them is something that there is nothing I can do about it. Can only pray and pray. And two others that I might be able to make some difference. Okay, I know you have no idea what I'm trying to say here. It's kind of private actually. Can't really write it here. And there's isn't anyone that I can think of to talk to about it.

And today, we redrew our PS' for camp. This time, I got Ti Nee instead. Haha. Although I was happy to have gotten Su Hoei earlier but I'm as happy to get Ti Nee. Haha. So yeah, hopefully everyone will be able to work well and have much fun.

Besides that, I realised things are starting to fall apart. In many aspects. Especially the supposed-t0-be very special bond. It disappoints me and lonelier should be the right word. Not going to elaborate more. I should just stop thinking too much and grab a goodnight sleep as it's 1am now.

Goodnight! :)

Taken while Amazing Race was having a commercial break ;)

Hellooo. I'm back with another post before the short and very much appreciated weekend ends. Don't ask me regarding the picture being upside down. After tomorrow, we'll be going to school for the second week! It's pretty fast how time flies. I remember it was just the end of PMR, then me enjoying the holidays, then it was Christmas followed by New Year and today, it is 12th of January! Soon, it is going to be Chinese New Year. Talking about that, I have not gotten myself any new clothes! Haha. Doubt I'll be getting any thought. Not much excitement this CNY anyway. Years ago, it was very very exciting for me. About 9 of us cousins would gather at my grandparent's house to play fireworks. Now that everyone is at different ends of the world, dream on about having a fun reunion.

One more thing, we had our first Rangers meeting on Friday. Had a discussion about CPT's 25th Camp. Chosen to be a PL and Su Hoei as my PS. Happy with that draw but I have not asked my mum if I can go yet. Don't know if she allows after that incident last year. Hmm. Nothing much to blog about already. Will be having tuition tomorrow morning.

Lastly,

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY, birthday boy! =)
Not easy to get a picture like this you know? Haha.

Goodnight friends!

Long Way To Go..

First of all, I don't expect anyone to be reading this. This is only for me to express myself after a long and hectic week. But of course, if you're seeing this, it also means that you're reading it so Happy Reading.

Only 5 days at school and I'm already beginning to feel like it had been a long phase of time. I gotta start realizing that it's only 5 days and many more to come. No doubt, schooling is FUN. As many would say, it's one of the best parts in the circle of life. But with all these novel subjects we've to study in school, it makes things a lot more difficult for us. Now I would like to draw your attention to this particular subject called Civics or Pendidikan Sivik in BM. We had our very first lesson today and I must say it is very silly and definitely a waste of time. They include those things like 'What must you do to achieve your goals, ambition and etc in life?' in the syllabus. See, at least i paid attention today. However, to be frank i doubt anyone would actually follow whatever that is taught. Most of us in class have our Civic textbooks up on the table and our Add Maths book underneath the desk. Then when the oh-so-blur teacher comes near, our heads eventually moves up, eyes focused on the textbooks. Action in disguise. So there you see, how ridiculous and unnecessary this subject is? Back to the topic, school. One thing I wanted to say here is that thankfully I'm sitting next to one cheerful girl beside me in class or else I would have gone cuckoo. Imagine having to sit with Wai Pheng. Haha. Not saying she's boring or anything but she's just wayyyy too industrious which is actually good in a way.

On the co-curricular side, I'll have to admit that I'm actually very inactive. I know it's important and all but somehow I'm unable to find ample time for all those. Rangers meeting and house practices are on Fridays starting next week I think. Adding to my packed schedule is Choir meetings on every Thursday. I'm trying hard not to complain, I know there are others out there who are more busy and all. And one more thing, tomorrow is a HOLIDAY for idk what reason but who cares. Now that holidays are so limited, I've learned how to appreciate it.

We've come to the 'ending point' of this post. Thank you very much if you've read all those things that I've said and I'm sorry if I had bore you. Haha. Alright, will update when I have the time and when I feel like it. For now, goodbye and good night friends. Take care as we all still have A LONG WAY TO GO. A journey which will bring us to somewhere bright I hope. =)

All New..

School started yesterday. So, it has been 2 days since I've been to school. Yes, I know. 2 days only. Out of I don't know how many hundreds. Haha. Basically, it is new classroom, new class teacher, new monitor, and most importantly new subjects which I don't know if I'd be able to cope with. Anyhow, some things remain old. Like say my school uniform, school shoes, school bag, pencil case and of course the girl sitting next to me! Since form one, she is Banana Head.
I'm going to be so busy. Tuition classes almost everyday. I don't even know if that's necessary. But we'll see. Won't be blogging so often anymore. After all, I wont have much to say. It's going to be something like school-tuition-eat-bathe-sleep. Guess it's going to be the same routine till during the hols. Hmm.

I know it's a lil late to post up a few of my New Year Resolutions but here's it..

  • To not slouch so often.
  • To obey the 'Five Precepts' in Buddhism.
  • To be more hardworking.
  • To not text message during tuition classes.
  • To not judge people without knowing them/criticize.
  • To take a more healthy diet everyday/ more vegetable.

On the way to my first Add Maths tuition.

It's a new year and I'm sure many of us are pretty stressful. Take things easily and take good care of yourselves, friends. Study hard and show some love to your loved ones. You'll never know what's to happen tomorrow. See ya'll. x)

Thoughts..

It's a brand new year already. I'm hoping that this year things will get better for me as life goes on. 2007 to me wasn't exactly good. Here's a little summary about it.

Started off 2007 normally. Don't remember anything much that happened in Jan and Feb. In March, we had this yearly guides camp organized by the rangers. The competitions that we had to prepare for kept us very busy and this was all normal. Everything went smoothly until one of the members in my patrol actually stole my phone. Hmm. Fortunately, her dad found out and returned the money. Lesson learnt; Think twice about the people you trust. One incident I would remember for a long time.

In April and May, this was when things started getting bad in my life. Found out that mum's sick. She had cancer, this life threatening disease. It was in stage 2. The news really made me very very sad. I still remember the night when she told me about it. Was very hard for me to accept it and I kept hoping to myself that this was all a dream. Unfortunately, it wasn't. This 2 months was when she had those operations and all. Those sleepless nights that I had. It made me realize how much I really love and treasure my mum.

In June, brother came back for summer holidays. He has been studying in Sheffield for 3 years now. Taught me lots of new stuff from different aspects. He gives me advises and all. Always keeps track on the things I do and the people I mix with. Honestly, sometimes I feel like he is more like a dad to me. I know he cares a lot for me but at times it makes me feel very uneasy about it.

In July to September, mum went through chemotherapy. This process wasn't easy at all. Seeing mum so weak and her hair dropping day by day just made me felt miserable. To me, mum's really a superwoman. It must have been very hard for her. Going through all these without dad by her side. End of September, bro went back to UK.

In October, took the PMR examinations. Didn't really prepare early as planned but I managed to study everything. This month, mum had to do radiotherapy. She was feeling much better then. Her hair started growing too. I know that she was always trying to be happy and positive, but deep within she was still very worried about the sickness. So was I.

In November, I had headache for almost 3 weeks. Everyday. Really worried much. Consulted the doctor and finally went for MRI. Thankfully, the results of the brains were all normal. Nothing special happened in December except for PMR results day. The rest of the days in Nov and Dec was spent by having outings with my dearest friends.

Tomorrow, I'll be accompanying mum to the hosp. She has to do some scan. Hopefully, it's gonna be good.

All in all, many things happened. Many things changed. There were the good times as well as the bad. All that I've been through has just made me stronger now. Right now, I wish that everything I pray for everyday may come true. A very special thank you to those few friends who were there to help me always. Truly appreciates it. And you, for being there with me all along when I had to go through everything.

Lastly, I hope that 2008 will be a HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D
