BitterSweet Escape


HI! I know I've been abandoning this blog for quite some time now.
But I couldn't be blamed. I was busy BUSY BUSY with monthly test! It's not over yet though I'm already acting like it is. Last paper; Sej tomorrow.

Anyway, on Friday after school,

8 of us were on a journey to Gurney to watch THIS.

Yep. Can't say it's good cause everything looked so fake in the movie.
But it was not bad lah overall.
After the movie, went for lunch @ the food court then home.
Came home and found a red packet on the dining table.
Then of course, the natural thing to do was to go near it.
& much to my surprise it was for me!

20 pounds from a family friend. It read; To Yi Lin, Have an enjoyable and memorable trip. Thanks aunty!!

At night, attended tuition then to the beach. For a small BBQ w/ Miss ConTheBitch. Was so funny cause of the BFFs. Ahemmm.

Looking so deeeelicious..

..but it just had to fall ;(

Btw, HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY CONNIE! ;)

Saturday;
To Gurney w/ Nana for The Dark Knight. EXCELLENT movie and a definite must watch.

Christian Bale is kinda handsome, don't you think? And seriously Y-E-N-G! Perfect silent guardian I would love to have.

The Joker; Why so serious? Heath Ledger played this role so well. It's so unfortunate he passed away. Drug overdose if I'm not wrong. They're planning to give him an Oscar and after watching the movie, I really think they should.

Both of us joined mum for dinner later on.
Then, home.

Leaving to England in 2 days time for brother's convocation. I am excited!

First time to Europe and first time out of M'sia after 5 years.

Interhouse Competition

Netball and volleyball matches were held in school last week from Mon till Wed.
It's an annual event but this year's different because I participated in netball. Yesss, meeee.
Sadly, Green came out last for both.
Congrats red for winning volleyball and yellow for netball. You guys did really well!
Nevertheless, it was a great experience for me and I also made a few new friends.

& I got something in return as well

I FELL! damn.
It was only a few cuts at first..
And I don't know how it became all swollen a few days later
So bo tat. ;(

Anyway, 2 weeks ago, Nana and I went to Music Valley at 1-stop to buy tickets to High School Musical: The Ice Tour. Okay.. I know what you're thinking.. That we're lame right? HAHA. But I don't care! We'll still be watching it on the 19th August along w/ Nana's cousin, Jihan. Bought the cheapest tickets available so we won't regret it if it turns out boring.

Sometimes we say things so easily w/o giving it a second thought,
Assuming that those are just words and only words,
Assuming that nobody is gonna feel anything about it,
Assuming that no one will be seeing or reading it,
When actually those words still meant something to some people,
When actually they still get upset about it,
When actually you didn't disappoint them until they read it..
