Soapbox Sunday...

This is whining so if you can't stand whining stop reading now. For those who like music, read on my friends, read on.
First, you need to know that I love music & love to sing. That is saying a lot too. I have had some really horrible experiences singing in church. Some really good ones too.
So here is my beef. Today in sacrament meeting the opening song was #27. One of my all time favorites. Here's the thing. Up in the corner next to the tempo it said Vigorously and yet we proceeded to sing the entire song Ponderously. It is not a dirge. Play to tempo. I know I shouldn't criticize I can't even play. But, if I could only play the top hand I would play at tempo. Thanks for letting me vent. Now you know how I feel about something, you probably didn't care to take up brain cells to know.
