A couple things to note:

  • You can ask me anything about Wikipedia, no judgement - I'm always a resource for you, happy to help.
  • If you're creating an article - i'm happy to take a look and help out before you either create it in Mainspace (once you've been autoconfirmed) or submit it to Articles for Creation as a draft.

Edits to Marc Rowan

[edit]

Hi Livetreebestree. I reverted your two recent additions to Marc Rowan. Because Rowan is a living person, contentious material must be stated conservatively and directly supported by sources. In the case of your edits, the AP timeline does not discuss Rowan or directly connect Epstein’s prior history to Rowan’s 2016 email, so combining the sources creates a synthesis. The Wall Street Journal describes an unresolved zoning dispute and states that a judge has allowed Duryea’s to continue operating, so “likely operating illegally” is not supported and presents a disputed legal conclusion in Wikipedia’s voice. Please review WP:BLP, WP:SYNTH, and WP:NPOV before adding contentious material about living people. Thank you. ~~~~ Martinpri (talk) 19:54, 26 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Heyoboyo. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
