Not sure if this is just a me problem, but the ambient audio appears to have a looping issue? I noticed it's starting later than usual and then looping at a different point than expected with a highly noticeable pop

I'll double check, but the ambient audio has always had a pop, it doesn't loop seamlessly.
I feel like I remember the loop point being a lot earlier (before the highest note fading in) and it was a lot less noticeable than it is now - I'll try rolling back a few builds and seeing when this started happening (iirc there's a way to do that?)
Figured out how to roll back, 902 has proper looping with a much fainter pop in the background, and my memory has failed me regarding the start of the loop
So, to be clear, the difference between 902 and 916 is just the volume of the pop at the end of the loop, correct?
More specifically, the default ambient audio doesn't appear to be looping properly as of build 907. I think it'd be more accurate to describe the audio as "restarting" at the fade-in, triggering a much more prominent pop than it did in build 902. I still feel like I remember the start point being about midway through the file, just before the highest note begins to fade in, if that helps correct the issue completely?

Out of curiosity, are you able to reproduce the looping issue with your own music, added with these instructions?

You can now replace the ambient audio by putting a WAV, MP3 or FLAC file in the /steamlink/config/music directory of a USB drive, plugging it in to the Steam Link, and then power cycling it. You can remove the USB drive after the music starts.
link hardware went to sleep after hitting 'ok' on are you still there
was in the network menu and browsing files on it with filezilla

I can reproduce this one, at least! :)
I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I am using the steam link hardware and I am having issues with the start up and also constant connection issues when using the box with ethernet. Infinite load and choppy visuals no matter what I do. Both my PC and the steam link box are wired into my modem. When I switch to wifi on steam link it's better since I can actually use it, but not by much since my connection is choppy. It's been like this since last month.

are you on beta build?
feel free to make your own thread

try common fixes
make sure windows network is set to private, not public
disable any vpn
if using wifi, check router settings and disable wifi isolation
make sure you can ping the link ip from the host pc
any of those can force remote play to use your internet relays upload+download instead of direct connection
