Color Red has blurry edges on GTX 1080

Red color is very blurry over the Steam Link with the Quest Pro. Every other color looks sharp, problem is just with the red, and the colors containing it (like purple, orange, etc). GPU is GTX 1080, Will do a couple of tests on other GPUs later.

Unfortunately this is how video compression works. Chroma channels are much lower res than the Luna channel.

Everything looks fine with Airlink/VD
Tested on friend's 7900XTX & Q2 with Steam Link. Colors are more contrasty and Red looks fine.

Airlink/VD have other issues, like visible compression artifacts and smearing.

Have you tried increasing the render resolution?

Yes, no effect. need to try on another friend's newer Nvidia.
(also, bitrate is set to max.)

Yeah, it's not an issue with bitrate. It's the chroma subsampler that's most likely set to 4:2:0 whereas VD seems to be 4:2:2.

Bump because i suffer the same thing and i refuse to use VD
