SteamVR Error 200
Hey everyone, couldn't find a solution for this online and I've been trying to get this working for a couple days ago.

I use a Quest 3 via Link Cable, and am coming back from a 6 month break from VR. However, despite whatever I try to do I continue to get SteamVR Error 200 which says "SteamVR has encountered an error. Please review your user permissions on this computer. Or if you manually added something to the SteamVR drivers directory, remove it."

Here's a short list of what I've tried to fix it.

- Re-installing SteamVR
- Re-installing Meta Horizon Link
- Deleting the SteamVR drivers, then verifying files to redownload them
- Running Meta Horizon Link as Admin
- Running SteamVR as Admin
- Ensuring that my Window's account has all the appropriate permissions (Read, Write, Execute, Run)
- Numerous Reboots

I'm really out of options here and I'd appreciate any input if anyone has encountered and fixed a similar issue.

Specs:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RTX 4080 Super
32gb DDR5
Meta Quest 3
Windows 11

If you're using it via Link cable and say you're using Horizon Link, I suspect you're not using the Steam Link app at all (or shouldn't be, for Horizon Link). So you'll probably want to hit up the SteamVR troubleshooting forum over in the SteamVR community: https://steamcommunity.com/app/250820/discussions/2/

This discussion forum is specifically for the Steam Link app, and *generally* focuses more specifically on the OG Steam Link functionality (e.g. playing non-VR games on a 2D 'theater' screen in a VR space, without SteamVR involved at all).
Ah thank you, my mistake

No worries! Just figured I'd get you over to where relevant help is more likely. :)
