App crashes just as the game boots up
I'm trying to play Balatro and every time I launch the game the app restarts. This happens on wifi and 5g. My device is a Xiaomi 15t Pro and my home PC is running Windows 11 with a 1gbps fiber connection. Both devices are up to date.

This issue does not occur on my Steam Deck OLED.

When you say it doesn't occur on the Deck, do you mean it doesn't happen on the Xiaomi when streaming *from* the Deck (instead of the PC), or that the Deck doesn't crash as a client when streaming from the PC?

I assume the latter, but I figure it's worth getting clarification.

Yes. The latter. It doesn't crash when I stream from my PC to my steam deck.

Could you throw the streaming_log.txt from your PC up somewhere? (Pastebin, Google Drive, whatever.) It'll be in the logs directory under your Steam install, so (for instance) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs is a common spot for it.

Even better would be if you can:
  • Quit Steam
  • Delete streaming_log.txt
  • Start Steam
  • Stream to Steam Deck (to capture a working session)
  • Stop streaming to Deck
  • Start streaming to Xiaomi (to capture a broken session)
  • Stop streaming to Xiaomi
  • Then upload the streaming_log.txt

    That'll ensure it has ALL the useful data, and doesn't have a bunch of other stuff cluttering it up.
