I also have this issue and it is very frustrating

I have similar issue… I’m using a Logitech mx anywhere 3s , odd thing is that the scroll wheel behaves as it should if I hold one of its side buttons down (button4 or button5)

It's an issue with the app and I've reported it to the dev team. It's game breaking but if enough of us report it they will release a fix!

Has anybody figured out external monitor support and mouse input being trapped on the iPad screen and not extending to the external monitor?

Opened support call no solution :(
So while no button extra button is pushed scroll wheel acts as horizontal mode, hold a button down and it’s In vertical mode..

Wait, did you find a solution or a temp one? I could find nothing and am limited to playing controller only games when I’m not at my PC at the moment. Not having scroll wheel is terrible.

Horizontal scroll works. This means the scroll IS being detected but it’s the wrong input.

What’s frustrating is I bet it’s a simple fix from the dev team but we are locked out from being able to do anything. If anyone has ANY solution or work around please let us know!

Im having the same issues, with using ipad pro with steamlink mouse and keyboard, using cyberpunk on a windows host, the scroll wheel does not work, it does not allow the selection of weapons by scroll up & down, various games require this to work, specially when navigating menus, please let us know if this is a IOS specific issue or if this is something steamlink can address, as im willing to switch to non apple devices to experience better steamlink experience.

steam hasnt released a fix and probably never will knowing steam. it seems like such an easy fix considering side scrolling seems to be binded to regular scrolling

This should be fixed in the beta, can you try it out?
