THANK YOU! After pulling my hair out trying to make Moonlight+Sunshine work only to get HDR, to no avail (I got microstutters on all devices no matter the settings), this works perfectly!

I can finally forget about Moonlight/Sunshine and enjoy my games with HDR.
Android soon too?
Is there currently a good way to test if it is working correctly?

I change the Performance Overlay to SHOW DETAILS but I don’t see anything that directly indicates as if HDR is working.

Thank you!
How do you enable this? Should it just work?
Not working for me on an M2 iPad

Just turn on the enhanced 1080p or 4K streaming settings and make sure you're using a hardware encoder on the host.

If this is working, you'll see P010 as the capture format in the performance graph.
Not working for me on tvOS (Apple TV 4K 2nd gen) either. All I see is:
Capture is 3840x2160 @ 60
Encoder is “Game D3D11 shared NV12 + NVENC HEVC”
Decoder is “tvOS Metal hardware decoding”

Host PC is a 4090 with an LG C2 hooked up, HDR turned on in Windows 11. Works fine on the host, but no difference client side with beta

I'm reporting the same issues. 1080p Streaming Configuratino Mode selected, Windows detects HDR, the Games detect HDR mode (Cyberpunk 2077), but I am not seeing the P010 as the capture format. Output is simply:

Capture: 1920x1080 @ 59
Encoder: Game D3D11 shared NV12 + NVENC HEVC
Decoder: tvOS Metal hardware decoding

Edit: it is also not auto switching my TV to HDR mode, I have to manually set that within the Apple TV settings manually. I'm unsure if it is suppose to be automatic or not.

Edit 2: I have just tested this with Moonlight + Sunshine (with Stats Overlay on), and I can confirm that HDR is on when I stream. My display even switches to HDR automatically once I start the stream from within Moonlight, so something appears to be not working properly with Steam the latest Steam Link Beta for tvOS.

Edit 3: Tested with iOS and MacBook Pro devices. Both worked and I was able to see the P010 in the Encoder section of the overlay. Seems like a bug in the tvOS version.
Death Stranding seems working, but Armored Core VI doesn't. I've reported the issue via TestFlight.
