Steam Link > iPhone 15 stuck at 720p?
Up until today I was happily streaming from my PC to my iPhone 12 at full resolution full screen and it worked great. Today I got an iPhone 15 max but when I stream to it steam launches in Big Picture Mode at 720p, and no matter what I change I can’t get it to go higher resolution.. it’s like it’s being capped. I set the option ‘Change host desktop resolution to match client’ which on the iPhone 15 max is (2796x1290) but it simply won’t go over 720p

I’ve tried adding a custom resolution to Nvidia control panel and tested it and works fine.

Short of completely reinstalling steam I don’t know what else I can change to fix the issue? Ideas?

So i think ive discovered the issue.. The iPhone 15 max is reporting as being 720p or maybe as Unknown on Steam Link (and defaults for 720p for unknown?), i am guessing they need to support this device with an update to the app.. *sad face*

This is in relation to the option "Change desktop resolution to match streaming client" if you leave this disabled then it will stream at what every your PC desktop res is.. but you then dont get a fullscreen display on your iPhone (unless of course your phone and your desktop are identical.. which im pretty sure they wont be).
