Steam Link update broke Steam Controller
Seems when Steam Link updated to the new version today, it stopped recognizing my Steam Controller as a controller. Based on game menu buttons it is identifying the controller as a keyboard. This setup was working for me literally yesterday and the only thing that appears to have changed is the Steam Link app.

Steam Controller connected using its dongle via a USB-C adapter

This should be fixed in Steam Link update 1.2.0, just released. Can you please verify?

I am on 1.2.0 on Apple TV and experiencing the same problem just now.
Steam Controller is not usable (the buttons don't behave as they should, e.g. B doesn't go back), the Big Picture is not navigable correctly, the interface appears as on a PC without controller, no colored A,B,X,Y reminders at the bottom

Sorry, forgot to reply. The update fixed the problem on my MBP.
