So to start with, Seath wanted to say "Happy St. Patrick's Day" to everyone. He even wanted to show everyone his true colors and to show what he will look like in years to come (you know, for the ladies).
Next, I was holding Seath after he ate dinner (yes, Amber finally let him go). While we were watching Conan, I had him sitting with us so Seath could see the TV. I love the show, and I made Amber watch it long enough for her to like it now too. The best part was when I mover Seath and he growled at me. That must mean that he likes the show and he couldn't see it, or that he wanted mommy back. Either way you look at it, he growled at me. Amber thinks that it was funny, but it is not the only thing he does to me... 1) growling 2) giving me the eye of death 3) looking at me while being held by mommy with the look of, "I win again".
Now, to get into some past stories of the week... We will start with the BRIGHT people that works in a Children's Place. Rory and I went to the mall to pick up some sleepers for Seath. As we walked in, this person walked up to us and asked if we needed help. Not wanting to look around for hours, I said yes and asked her to point me in the direction of the sleepers. This lady asked the great question of what size I was looking for. I responded with, "Newborn or 3 months". The lady just looked at Rory for a few...I had to step in and say it wasn't for her and it was for her brother. My question to everyone is, "are we still able to pass out signs to people?"
While walking through the Disney Store, Rory and I was looking at everything. On our way out of the store, Rory spotted the Marvel wall. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem at all if Rory likes action figures... but she walked up to one that I never talk about or really care for. I like Spider-Man and have always pushed that one on her every chance I have. Today was different. She walked up and didn't ask for a toy, nope, not at all. She walked up to a Captain America toy and said, "it's daddy". I don't think Spider-Man is going to be her choice.
While sitting as a family, here is a bit of a conversation we had:
Daddy: Rory, do you want to hold Seath?
Rory: Yeah, yeah.
Daddy: Alright, sit next to mommy.
Rory: (after holding seath for a few seconds) He stinky, baby brother poo-poohed...all done.
Thank you for visting our blog. On the blog we will be sharing whats going on in our crazy lives and share pictures. We will try our best to up-date the blog on a monthly basis, but don't hold us to that :)

The Past Week
So we knew for a little over a week that Amber was going to have the baby on the 8th or the 9th. We were lucky enough to be able to wake up at 3:45 in the morning on the 8th to start the process, and what a fun time it was. Once there, they did everything they needed to do and Amber and I still have not had breakfast, so around 9:00 Amber said, "don't you want to go to McDonald's and get some food?" and then proceeded to order what she wanted to eat. The doc did say that I had plenty of time to go and get something, so I went to get food for her. After I got back, the doctor came in to look at Amber at 10:15 and told us that it looks like she was ready to give birth. They set up the room, and told Amber to start pushing. Little did anyone know that when Amber started to push, her gown was also all up in her throat and started to cough. The doctor liked what she was seeing and told her to keep it up. Amber did it for a couple more pushes and the doc said to stop coughing; but Amber couldn't hold it back. The point that I am trying to make here is if you want a quick birth, just start coughing. 9 minutes later at 10:24, Seath Alexzander was born.
So now after 9 months, the hard part for Amber is all over and we get to look forward to going home in 24 hours; or so we thought. They came in to do tests on Seath, and everything looked fine and no one told us anything differently. The 24 hour mark came and went, and yet we are still there. I went to the nurse and asked what was going on and she seemed surprised that we did not know, and then had someone come in to tell us. So needless to say, we got to stay there for a whole 2 days.
So there are some things that I have to cover...Amber was upset about the bed that she had to sleep in. You do have to figure that hospital beds are not that good, but it was better than what I had to sleep on. There is only one way to describe my bed, but in order to do that I need to paint a picture... Everyone remembers playing the game of LIFE as a child, and if not you really missed out. Well in this game you get to buy a house. Depending on how much money you had would depend on what house you get. The worst house you could get would be the "split level"; it looks as if a earthquake came through and made this 1 story house into a 3 story house. So back to the bed... that was the first thing that I thought of when I saw it. The pillow on my "bed" is covering a hole that you may fall into.
While there, we did have a few friends come and visit us which was really nice of them to do, but there was one person that wanted to see Seath more than anyone else; Rory. For 9 months now she wanted to meet her baby brother, and she loved every second that she was in the room with him. She was even nice enough to tell other people that they could not hold him for the fact that it was her baby brother. Other than that, we were able to get everyone in the same room and get the first family photo.

Then we were able to take him home and then come back in a few days later for his first appointment with his doctor. We get called in to the back and they tell us that they need to weigh him. Amber not wanting to move all that much told me to go with him. Once there, I undressed him and took off his diaper. Since the old one was dirty and Amber had the diaper bag, I didn't put a new one on him. The nurse said not to put a new one on him and just have my wife do it...we shared a laugh and I told him that I don't want to be pissed on. I am happy to say that I did not get pissed on, not one drop. Instead, he poohed. The wall didn't see it coming. I was a good foot and a half away and he was able to still get it, also my arm. Amber thought it was so funny.
As of now, this is all that we have. I will update the blog sooner than later for the fact that I think my life is being made into a sitcom somewhere. There is always something going on in life and with a family like mine, it would be wrong not to share.

NEWS....nothing really changed.
I woke up this morning and like always, I checked my e-mail on my phone. Not thinking that anything was going to be there, I was wrong. I had an e-mail from the Air Force that said, "Congratulations on your PCS orders." So like I did last time, I went on-line to find out where they are trying to send me. But just like last time, they are still trying to send me to a Security Forces squadron. I was so happy and sad at the same time when I was reading my orders... It said I was going to be Security Forces in Italy. Italy was the happy part while Security Forces was the sad part. What I found out from this e-mail is that I will be in Vegas FOREVER and they will never really PCS me anywhere.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I have thought to myself, "OK, you should really post some of the things that happen in your house." With that being said, I took My advice and here are a few things...
Amber: "Rory, how many fish sticks do you want?"
Rory: "TWOOO!"
Amber: "Are you sure you only want TWOOO; or do you want a number higher than two?"
Rory: "TWOOO!" (with her hand higher in the air)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Names have been changed to protect myself....
Pregnant Woman: "I could eat a whole jar of Androids"
Loving Husband: "Really, you want to eat a jar of phones?"
Pregnant Woman: "Not phones, the mints"
Loving Husband: "So you want a tin of Altoids"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were at the doctor's office for Amber's weekly appointment.... so for the fact that I was bored, I started to take the Nuvaring out of the model that it was in and then put it back. Amber thought it was funny, and thought she would tell the doctor about it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We asked Rory to take off her shoes and to put them away. She sat down and took them off and threw them near the front door. Amber asked, "is that where they go? I don't care if you put them next to daddy's shoes, but we don't throw them." All of a sudden Rory put her shoes next to mine and even took the time to place them nowhere near each other. She put one on each side which ended up taking up more time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber was putting Rory down for bed and Rory told Amber, "Mommy, I no have eyes on my butt, I have eyes on my face." For a second I thought I had to take her to the doctor to get the eyes removed before other children made fun of her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rory came running up to me tonight with a fake doughnut in her hand saying, "here daddy". I told her that I did not want that and that I needed real food. Amber joined our conversation and asked what I wanted to eat. Before I had a chance to say anything, Rory said "Daddy Food". she then walked to the pantry and got me a container of cookies. After she handed them to me, she asked for one. There are a few things that I do not understand about this whole situation; the first is the fact that she thinks that I eat nothing but cookies and renamed it to "daddy food" and next is the fact that she then starts to ask for the food that she brought me. For some reason I think she was thinking about someone else.
Okay, so that is all that we have right now. That was only for the month of March, so I know we will have a lot more after we have another child in the house.
