Custom...

Just got a call from the hospital and Charlotte gets to have a custom trach.  That's my girl already being a fashionista....ha!  The new trach will be longer and fit her better so it doesn't rub against her trachea and chin.  This will enable us to move her around more!  We need to get that baby moving and shaking!  Now if her pacer wires would just behave I could cuddle my sweet girl more.

Also some results have come back from that explain why she has two clots.  Her blood is higher on the coagulation levels then normal, but not that abnormal.  So she is on the high end of normal.  So having these PICC lines in aren't helping the situation.  The doctors are going to continue to test her blood and consult the hematology team for their input on Charlotte.  She is on heparin to thin her blood and they are going to increase her dose of aspirin.

I am glad I left yesterday....it is crazy out today.  The snow is blowing...which is the worst when you live in the country.
