When you have so much fun playing...

...outside in the summer, this can happen.

(Yes that is Brayden asleep in the bathtub! He kept nodding off and so we snapped a quick picture to show him how much fun he had growing up! So much that he'd fall asleep at night in the bathtub! Haha!)

More Slip N Slide Fun

We enjoyed another fun afternoon out in the backyard with the slip n slide! We started out with Uncle Logan joining us, then Betsey and Josilyn joined us, and then Ashalon and her kids, Caleb, Kylie, and Tori, joined in too! Unfortunately by the time that Ashalon and the kids came to play, I stopped taking pictures! We had a fun afternoon of slip n sliding, playing in the water, and popsicles after the "incident."

The photo above would be the incident! After telling Brayden to watch out when other people are slip n sliding, he didn't listen and got in the way of Logan! Of course I was being the good Mom and taking pictures and this is what I got! There were no major injuries to report and after this Brayden did NOT want to slip n slide for awhile! It took everyone else coming over before he decided he'd do it again!

Golfing With Daddy

Brayden has been enjoying golfing with Brian in the front yard and has been begging to golf at "Daddy's golf course!" Brayden thinks the golf course we live on is Daddy's! So after Brian bought Brayden his own set of clubs and a cute little golf bag to put them in, they decided to head out on the course! The nice guy let them on on for free and Brayden thought it was the BEST thing ever! Especially riding the golf cart! They called me from the tee box we can see from our backyard so we could wave to each other! I think Brian's found a little golf buddy!

I have a video Brian took of Brayden too that I need to put up! I just need him home to help me figure out how to do it!

Father's Day 2009

We loved spoiling our Daddy on Father's Day! We enjoyed a nice Sunday and after church headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Leavitt's house for dinner.

We went on a walk with Grandma Leavitt while Daddy got to take a nap and then we visited outside for a little bit!

We love our Dads, Grandpas, and Great Grandpas and are thankful for all they do for us!!

Grandpa Leavitt's Geese

Just before Father's Day Grandpa Leavitt happened upon 2 baby Canadian Geese crossing the road. He didn't want them to get hit by a car so he got out and helped them but didn't notice their Mom or siblings or even a pond nearby so he decided to "rescue" them and take them home. Brayden knows the story by heart (there's a few more details I'm not including) and has told EVERYONE the story, including his nursery teachers, and Grandma & Grandpa MULTIPLE times!

They are pretty tame and will let Uncle Logan hold them and pick them up!

Slip N Slide Fun

Brayden has been LOVING the nice weather and all the chances to be outside so it didn't take long for him to want to bring his slip n slide out for the first time this year!

4 Months Old

Easton turned 4 months old back on June 13th! After getting back from our Seattle vacation, and sending Daddy off to work in New York, we weren't ready for real life to happen and went and spent the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Leavitt's house. Easton loves having so much attention! At 4 months he is VERY close to rolling over from his back to his tummy. He's been able to do tummy to back for awhile now! We love our little guy so much!

Brian's 29th Birthday

We celebrated Brian's 29th birthday twice!! Once while we were still in Seattle with apple bars...

...and back home with a nice dinner of steak and crab followed by a double chocolate cream pie from Costco! YUMMY! Happy Birthday Brian! We love you lots!!

Seattle Vacation 2009: Driving Home

The boys were great travelers in the car when we drove to and from Seattle! Easton didn't enjoy the car a lot of the time we were there (sorry to those who had to endure it!) but was great during the actual driving days! Here's just two pictures I snapped on my iPhone during our travels!

Seattle Vacation 2009: Fun with Grandpa

Grandpa Petersen has always had so much fun with our boys! He loves to play and entertain them! We have some fun pictures very similar to this of him with Brayden around this age too! We love Grandpa very much!
