Kangaroo Zoo

Today we went to Kangaroo Zoo with Kristina, Jake, and Kenzie. Brayden was so excited to have friends to just run and run with, Easton was good just to take in the excitement, and Kristina and I were happy that our kids got out SOOO much energy! Especially Kristina who's having baby #3 (a boy!) next week! We're going to have to go again at least one more time before Spring on a day where I need Brayden to sleep good!

A Day Up American Fork Canyon

Today we picked up my Grandma Leavitt, went to Subway to grab some lunch, and headed up American Fork Canyon for a picnic lunch amid the Fall colors and then headed to Cascade Springs for a little walk.

Brayden enjoyed climbing on all the rocks around our picnic spot.

Easton was so good on our little outing!

Ready for Halloween

Grandma Leavitt made this pirate costume for Brayden to wear for Halloween! He went with us to get the fabric and from about 20 minutes later he was asking if he could wear it yet so he was REALLY excited to wear it for the first time today with all his accessories! Now we're just hoping it will make it to Halloween!!

7 Months Old

Easton is seven months old today! He's enjoying sitting up and seeing more of the action around him and is SO close to crawling! I am sure it won't be long now before NOTHING is safe anymore! He's a very happy guy and loves to watch Brayden! He is still quite a momma's boy which is good and bad! He's cutting his upper two teeth so pretty soon he'll have 4 chompers in that mouth of his! We love our little monkey!

Jane's Bridal Shower

Tonight I helped throw a shower for my cousin, Jane Sroufe, who is getting married in November! I will now have two married cousins! She's marrying Danny Toone in the Sacramento Temple. I had fun putting invitations, games, etc together for the shower!

I am making her a scrapbook of her shower as her gift so I took lots of pictures, including one of her with every guest and the gift they brought. Here's a few of the bride to be!

I included recipe cards in the invitations so everyone could give her their favorite recipe and then made this little box for her to put them all in.

Trying to Crawl

Easton is really trying to crawl! It's more of just getting up on his arms and legs at the moment but he's getting the hang of it! He's scooting forward a little bit and I'm sure it won't be long!
