Crew has been so excited for school to start! We had a "count down to school" chart on our refrigerator that Crew loved to look at everyday. I thought I would totally be ok, but I cried. I usually am so excited for them to go places to do something different, but this was different. He was going to school with a bunch of strangers. I thought, is he going to know how to put the straw in the juice box? Is he going to remember to shut the door when he goes to the bathroom? Will he remember who his teacher is?? I know he will be fine, he'll love it, I just need to get over it!

Jersi wanted to go to kindergarten this morning too! She's going to miss her brother and playmate.
I think when we actually got to school Crew was a little overwhelmed. He was kind of quiet, I think he was trying to take it all in. I know when I go to pick him up he wont be able to tell me fast enough all the fun things he did!
So as soon as I got home my neighbor called and asked if Jersi could come play, so it's just Denim and I today. He's been waking up only once in the night since he was 5 weeks old. Now that he is 7 weeks, he's been smiling and cooing. It is so cute, it makes me melt. We do his daily tummy time, that we call "his exercises". My kids get a kick out of it. They say, "Mom, is it time for Denim to exercise?"
