Allie turned six!!

When all our family was here for Cambree's blessing, we celebrated Allie's, Kelly's, and my dad's birthdays together with a big Costco cake!

On her actual birthday we went to Jump Time! The girls actually earned this award together for good behavior so we decided it would be fun to go on her birthday!

She also received some money from Grandma June so she wanted to go shopping at Target of course. She found glowsticks and a Periwinkle doll.

And we topped it off with an ICEE and selfies!

Everyday for a week this girl asked me countless times a day if it was going to rain...8 days after her birthday it DID! And she was pretty happy to try out her umbrella and boots :)

December Happenings

I'm lacking the energy or excitement that I usually have this time of year but we are managing to still do some fun and memorable things with the kiddos.
Here are some pictures of what we've been doing:

The new "Villiage" in Meridian. It's impressive

We went to see Santa there because they have a cute little Santa house and 3 of my Young Women were working there. But we waited outside for an hour! Good thing they have little heaters :)

Katelyn was excited to talk to Santa. She asked for a unicorn Glow Pet. That morning she said she wanted a sword and gun. 

Allie asked for a seal Glow Pet. She later told us, "That was definitely the real Santa!"

I planned a fun girl's group date last week. We played games and had hot chocolate!

Katelyn made this gingerbread man in preschool and keep finding little pieces eaten out of it. Haha, what a cutie pie.

Her preschool friends went and sang at a rehab center. It was the cutest thing ever!

Disney on Ice

I wanted to take the girls to Disney on Ice last year but couldn't possibly swallow the price! It's outrageous. But this year I found a great deal on Craigslist and I couldn't resist. They had a blast and were so into it! It was completely worth it!

{It ended at 9:00 and we didn't get home until around 10:00. They were so tired. When we got home they were crying about their legs hurting and everything else you can think of...}

Today the girls picked out: I'm thankful for toys. They went through their toys and found some that they could donate/give away. It was interesting to watch...it was very hard for them to give those toys up (even if they hadn't touched it in months). But we talked about how good it feels to give to others and help them feel happy. :)

Tonight was date night and my favorite time of the entire week! I love going out with my man. It is so fun and so needed to just do something together. We went to a restaurant in downtown Boise that has been around forever and they are retiring this month and closing. The Brick Oven Bistro. I had Cheesy Vegetable soup (with a scoop of mashed potatoes in the middle...oh it is divine) and a BLTC. Doug had Clam Chowder and a Reuben. We went out with our friend's, The Garrett's. Today is her due date for their 4th child. She constantly amazes me with all that she does so willingly. LOVE THEM!!

Doug also gave me my birthday present early! I absolutely LOVE it! I think I will keep him around for awhile. He is seriously the best person ever and he's all mine! :) Sorry for the sap...but it's all true!!
