Zoo + Wedding

I took my first trip solo with the kids. Surprisingly it went really well! They traveled great. We didn't get a lot of sleep but it was pretty good. 

We drove to Hogle Zoo and met up with my parents, Lisa and her kiddos. I love that place and it has been years and years since I've been there. Red Robin followed which was fab.

I then drove to Layton to stay with my friend Briana. We both have 3 girls all the same ages and so they had a blast playing together on Saturday while we caught up with life. The reason for the trip was Julia's wedding reception!! We dressed up and met Lyndsay and Tyler for dinner and then went on to the reception. She looked beautiful and so very happy!! The girls were in heaven dancing all night and we watched the cute couple all night. So glad I could go and support her and see her since they are living in AZ now.

Kindergarten Graduation

I can't believe Allie is already done with Kindergarten. I blinked and it happened. She loved every minute of school, especially her teacher, Mrs. Beaudry and all of her friends. She is very social. Her reading and writing have improved and she is doing awesome in math...so ready for first grade! Her teacher was sick on the last day of school (so sad) so we didn't get any pictures of her! We'll have to stop by on the first day next year and get one with her!

"Coyote Quiet"

Everyone's parents had flowers or candy necklaces etc. for them and then here we are with nothing. Allie asked us so sweetly, "Do I have anything?" Well Allie, we get snowcones on the last day of Kindergarten!! That made her pretty happy :)

One of her best friends, Eli, was in her class but he was gone before we could get a picture with him. Luckily he lives down the street and we got one with him and his siblings later. 

Spring Break

We stayed here in Boise for Spring Break. The first 2 days were very nice and then we had rain the rest of the week. But we did get to do some fun things.

Luckily I looked ahead at the weather and we planned to hike on Monday with our friends, Lincoln, Devry, Brenna, and my friend Serena. It was perfect weather!

We made lots of yummy food, including a new favorite granola recipe :)

We invited Allie's girl friends, Lilly and Lillia over since they have morning Kindergarten and we never get to play with them. They played with their American girl dolls and acted out the entire movie of Frozen! Haha!

Enjoyed the rainy weather. Katelyn wants an umbrell and boots so so bad. Everyday she asks if it's June yet so she can get some for her birthday!

Had a funny face-off. Doug made a funny face and the girls tried to match it. :)

Had a lot of fighting and yelling so we tried the "Get Along Shirt." They were not happy about getting into it and then they started laughing and running all over the place having the best time. I can't decide if I will use it again!
