Everyday Asher asks me if we can go to Starbuck's (so he can have chocolate milk). Our ritual goes something like this: As soon as we enter, Asher marches right up to the beverage cooler and picks out either chocolate milk or vanilla milk (depending on his mood) and one for Elie. He finds us a table while I am paying for our drinks. Elie and I join him at the table while he is sitting quietly, guzzling away. I give Elie his and he immediately starts quietly guzzling away. They both sit in silence until you hear the last drops being sucked dry. Asher takes both his and Elie's containers and throws them in the trash. That pretty much sums it up... like clock work. I love our Starbuck's ritual!
Oh, and on today's Starbuck's run there were only tables with two chairs. As I'm paying I look over to see Asher struggling to move an extra chair over to our table. He says, "I'm bringing a chair for you Mommy!" Oh my little mensch!
