Small Update

I havent had anything to blog about and I havent come across any tags lately so I just havent blogged. I thought it was time to atleast update everyone. I am warning you... nothing exciting has happened but next week I will have a few things to blog about so stay tuned.....

Grey is still going to school (well 2 online classes) and working at Lakeview Hospital for Cardon Healthcare. He is loving football season and that is the only thing on our TV as long has he is home. We recently got passes to South Davis Rec Center (thanks Troy) so Grey has been going a few days a week to work out or swim.

I am staying busy but I couldnt tell you what passes my time....oh, a two year old! The purse thing has kept me busy and I have been without a dryer for a few weeks so I have had to do laundry at my parents house. Like I said we got passes to the Rec Center so Greys mom and I got 3 days a week and work out. We did water aerobics on Friday and let me tell you...it is a work out! Some of the things are really hard! It feels good to work out............I have gotten over the sick stage of pregnancy but now I have migraines!!! It is horrible, I get a headache every night and if I dont take something it will turn into a full blown, in bed MIGRAINE! Other than that I feel good and have more energy.

Londyn is getting so big! She loves babies (yeah for us) and she just discovered the slides at the park! She is still bites everyone and everything when she is mad, but so far (knock on wood) she has not bit anyone at the Rec Center child care. She likes watching Nogin and interacting with shows. She is acting so old and understanding what we say....that is scary and fun all at once. She will be a great big sister!

We havent had much going on but this week we are going to Lake Powell so I will take the camera and post pics next week.

Boondocks

It All Happens at Once

Doesnt it feel like everything happens at the same time whether it be: all the bills come at once, you're not busy all week then you have 5 things to do on Friday, tradegy or trials all come at the same time, etc...? Well, that is how my life has been and this past week has been a shining example. I have not been busy for weeks then all of the sudden I actually had fun things to do! So lucky you, I am going to blog about my "fun" week.

We went to the State Fair on Wednesday... If you have never been or havent been in years, you need to go next year! It is tradition in our family and we love it! The food is expensive, the rides are a little scary (not safe) and livestock stinks but for some reason we love everything about it. Here are a couple pictures I took from my sisters blog (thanks Kinz) because I left my camera in the car.

This toy was cute at the fair but now at home it is kind of annoying!

Londyn was a little nervous at first but she eventually loved it! You cant see it but her fingers were white from holding on so tight.

Friday night we had a parents worst nightmare come true! Well not all the way true but it was scary anyway. I will give you the shorter version: Londyn started choking on something (we dont know what) and then started coughing so hard she would throw up. She would not stop so we decided to take her to the Emergency room. On the way there she was having a hard time breathing! We finally got there and they did tons of x-rays and even ordered a second set but eventually (after 4 hours!) they concluded she may still have something in her left lung because it wasnt working as hard as the right lung. Scary!! There was nothing they could do but observe her so we were supposed to follow up with our doctor. I took her in today and her doctor said she was okay....her lungs sounded good and her oxygen levels were normal! Yeah, scary night though.

Saturday we took my sister to Boondocks! We started out Mini-golfing then Kinzy, Grey and Rie went go-carting and Lazer tagging. We played some games and called it a day. It was crowded so it took us most of the day to do those few things. It was fun but there is not a lot to do if you are pregnant or under 3 so Londyn and I did a lot of sitting around and waiting (people watching). 1. I hate clutter! However it is hard when you are house sitting because you are double parked, so yes I am going crazy!

3. Clothes, I hate being uncomfortable in clothes and I usually buy something, wear it once then never again.

Goals
1.Buy a house within a year
2. Be a better mother, wife, daughter, friend, etc..
3. Play with Londyn on her level more often

Random Surprising Facts about myself
1. I was a professional Hula dancer when I was really young. Long story.
2. I am not a night person. I get sick (literally) if I am not in bed by 11pm
3. I am not one to keep close friends. I dont know why, maybe I dont put forth enough effort on my part but all the (okay the few) couples we do stuff with are all friends Grey had. I do keep in touch with a few of my friends but I am always trying to be a better friend.

Nothing exciting has happened in the past week so I havent blogged in a while. The big talk in our house right now is the first Utah Football home game! We have season tickets, this is our 4th year, and it is something we look forward to all year. Here are some things we love about Utah games.

*Getting a new U of U t-shirt every year.

*The statistics and facts Grey gives to get you pumped up for the season.

*The drive to the stadium with a little U of U window flag flapping in the wind.

*The fast walk to the stadium with all the other fans in their new t-shirts.

*The first look at the field and the team warming up when you're standing at the top of the stairs waiting to find your seat.

*The crowd screaming while the blow up house shakes as they announce the team

*The ups and downs of the plays

*The fight of the crowd getting out of the stadium

*The drive home listening to the local sports talk radio (well Grey loves this)

*Oh! and last but not least.....THE LITTLE DONUTS!!!

We love the U of U games! We have been looking forward for the game tomorrow all year!
