It has been 1 year today since Duncan passed away. Although today is the actually anniversary we kind of did everything yesterday. It was a Sunday morning and conference weekend so it just seemed more fitting to do it yesterday. We took orange balloons over to the cemetary where we did some talking and a lot of crying. We watched the Duncan movie (the one played at the viewing) twice and cried through it both times. As it was a time of mourning it was also a time of celebration because we know Duncan is free and happy. I am sure he is busy doing missionary work and putting on musicals so it does help us to feel peace and happiness for him. We miss him but I just cant help but smile when I think about where he is and what he is able to do now.
Last year, the weekend before he passed, they (Syd, Troy and Carolee) took a drive up to Provo Canyon Falls. They took lots of pictures and saw the beautiful leaves. They are so grateful for that little trip so this year, the weekend before the anniversary, we took that same drive with the family. It was so beautiful!
I also want to thank Debbie, Alayna and Kelly for putting out 50 orange balloons in the front yard! What an amazing sight. It was too dark outside to get a good pic but take my word for it, it was awesome!
We love you Duncy and thank you for all you have taught and all you still teach us.
Londyn's costume is awesome! She won best overall at the party we went to on Saturday. Cant wait to take her to the UofU football game on Halloween in her Princess Zombie costume. She loved having her face painted!
This was the view of the Colorado River standing in our campsite. It was only about ankle deep and only about 10 degrees so it was perfect to swim in.....NOT! Londyn didnt seem to mind.
Corver fell asleep on Syd's shoulders walking back from the river. We must have worn him out!
This is the happy boy awake! He loved it, although he wanted to get down and crawl he enjoyed all the people. 
Okay so we went on a "short" 7.5 mile hike! And yes, we took Londyn... call us crazy but we were told it was a 4 mile hike total. Turns out its almost 4 miles one way! So needless to say we (well Troy and Grey) had to carry her out the 3.7 miles because she fell asleep!

Oh, the sandhill! It was a blast and Londyn was in heaven! She climbed up pretty far on her own and when I asked her how far she went her reply was "um...two pounds" ha ha I love those kind of answers.
She was not happy when she realized we were leaving and she never made it to the top!
Fun tie dye project! We all made our own shirts and I know you cant see this pic well but our little family had a lot of white showing on our shirts. I want to do mine over again, so if anyone is interested in a tie dye project let me know!
