i'm going to rant like shit. watch out. i'm supremely pissed. i've searched high and low, in every nook and cranny. no activity card. i just don't get it. i NEVER take my activity card, house card and ez-link card out of my wallet EXACTLY COS i'm so scared that i'll lose them. and now i can't find my activity card. the minute i couldnt find it in my wallet i knew i was dead. and now i'll have to spend five freakin bucks on a new card, and all my FOUR activities this year won't be counted. i even did extra to carry over to next year. GOSH i'm so pissed. i probably dropped it somewhere or something. AAAAAAAARGH. sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks. why can't i be more careful. or observant. i'm so freaking sick of losing stuff. i'm starting to doubt if i even got the card back cos i really dont remember getting it back and putting it back in my wallet. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. die. die. die. A LIST OF TEN DANGEROUS THINGS
please note that this list it FAR from comprehensive, because in our dangerous world, there exists many dangerous elements that threaten the general well-being of mankind. trust me, it sucks thinking about how much danger we are actually in.

1) sleep deprivation
in my mum's (unsuccessful) attempt at getting me to sleep early, she cut out this newspaper article about how 'Lack of sleep may be deadly'. People who sleep less than 5 hours are twice as likely to die of heart disease. Lack of sleep also appears to be linked to increased blood pressure, heart attacks and stroke. ohwell. i also presume it leads to lack of energy the following day, thus leading to inability to stay awake during classes.

2) handphone cameras
handphone cameras are VERY DANGEROUS. especially in public transport. and ESPECIALLY if you're sitting next to a potentially perverted guy. ugh. bad experience.

3) huiyi's 'treacherous journeys' back home
just ask her for details on the many incidents that happened while she was walking home by her 'treacherous route'.

4) vampires. and vampire babies
refer to the twilight series in general, and breaking dawn in particular (for the vampire babies).
It's unsafe to be around vampires if you're human unless the vamps are Cullens or other 'vegetarian' vampires (duh).Vampire babies are DANGEROUS. ugh just see the way Stephenie Meyer describes Bella giving birth. the whole process actually. ugh ugh. okay no more spoilers.

5) pregnancy, in general
Miss Tay was telling us during tuition today about pregnancy. IN PARTICULAR,

6) breastfeeding
shall not elaborate on details here. far too disturbing. and plus, this blog should be for general viewing. just note that it has the potential to be gory, especially if the baby has TEETH. ew ew ew ew.

7) STIs
You just have to go through the trauma of hall assembly STI talks to understand this. HPB uses the scare tactic to get people to not have pre-marital sex. but it probably will work. the talk was SO disturbing. and they even showed us pictures. gosh.

8) addictions
okay this is a very DUH thing but yeah. i'm not talking only about cigarettes and drugs and alcohol. even addictions to dramas and books and certain kinds of food. (that's mainly the kinds of addiction i suffer from). the former two have sneaky ways of making you waste away precious time better spent on doing work (only you don't think you're wasting time at that point of time). then you REGRET wasting time later and kill yourself. plus, books and dramas make you addicted to the PEOPLE in them. very very dangerous indeed. you start living in an imaginary world with imaginary people (and you don't mind it!). In fact, you're pissed that some characters aren't real (where the hell is my Edward Cullen?) The latter makes you waste money and makes you suffer physically (think food cravings). I guess it'd be fine if you're addicted to things like celery or broccoli but most normal people (like me) are addicted to not-so-healthy things like chocolate. Don't even mention calories and fats.

9) procrastination
'procrastination is the thief of time'
'nuff said. i'm a true blue last-minute buddha foot hugger.

10) Math and Chem
they drive me MAD. i really don't get how we're gonna apply like, remainder & factor theorem in our lives in future. gosh.

argh. anyway i had a headache today after coming back from school. on the way, went to taka with huiyi & jas to grab some snacks. huiyi is hopelessly terribly irrevocably huiyi.

as i was saying, i had a headache, so i bathed upon getting home and slept. all the freaking way till 7 plus and my mum came back from a funeral. ): funerals scare me. i seriously don't think i'll be able to sleep tonight. then again, judging from the amount of sleep i devour if given the opportunity, i probably would be able to sleep perfectly well.

ooh i just saw this interview with tao li. it's so cute they gave her a surprise. She's a fan of stafanie sun ysee, so they were like "tao li, we have a little surprise for you" and stefenie sun just WALKS OUT of the curtains. Tao li was totally shocked hahaha.

pingting got me addicted to watermelon chupa-chups



today when i was in NTUC with my mum, i saw a shelf of fruit chupa-chups. i randomly picked up a packet and noticed that the population density of said packet was 80% watermelon. too good to be true.



i decided to give cherry another chance. maybe, just maybe, julian was right and cherry tastes nice. i took a lick and threw the rest away. seriously, it tastes like, cockroach or something. julian needs a new tongue.


HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE

okay as a tribute to Singapore and as an attempt to be slightly more patriotic, i will type in red today. no white cos it probably can't be seen.

We had our inter-rgs national day parade yesterday. heh. thank goodness it didn't rain like yesterday. otherwise i would have killed someone. practised so hard for nothing. speaking of rain, me and jas are weird. haha. we had a whole sms conversation spanning 2 hours plus about rain. sample of conversation is as follows.

m: i bet its gonna rain
j: no it isn't! i hope it isn't
m: HA, it rained
j: ya fine. but it stopped very fast not counted
(about half hour later)
m: omg its like POURING so heavily now i cant even see the scenery when i look out of my window! (its true okay)
j: no. my side no rain.
(5 mins later)
j: k fine. it started already.

haha. and then we talked about what a weird conversation we had. and we concluded that we're weird. btw, we both live in Pasir Ris.

anyway. after the parade there was the performance. when the guest of honour was giving out the prizes to the sec fours, Nandi made the quote of the day. btw, he was wearing his army no.3 uniform i think. He's some really high ranking officer.

haha. after the concert i went out with eenette & nat kim. we gossiped a little :0 nah its harmless and we're girls. and then we watched journey to the centre of the earth. It was surprisingly better and more exciting than i expected. Eenette & I practically screamed when the dinosaur came out. And that is the reason i can't stand Jurassic Park. heh. We saw tianyi michelle and janine at kfc and gave them a shock. haha tian totally screamed her head off. they had their revenge >: we were walking in this place where there were no people then we heard my name. softly and then eenette's name and we were like, omgomg what is that. investigating led to a lot of screaming and yelling.

then went to meet pingting nathan & julian at plaza sing. they were all there already ): and i thought i was early. there were no more tickets for dark knight ):):): i AM going to watch it some day. anyway we watched money no enough II. Again, better than I expected. movie critics are so not trustable. pingting and me totally cried our eyes out. and nathan as usual, was having fun watching us cry. well we kinda saw someone familiar in the cinema. and later on in the toilet,while washing hands i saw that it really was madel. haven't seen her for ages!
i hope things are better and i'm so sorry we made things worse

anyway we ended up at bugis again, and had dinner there. We talked lots and went home rather late :O (i love that face hehe) pingting and I waited at macs for her dad to send us home. we practically fell asleep at macs :O i did. haha i fell asleep the minute i reached home.

thats how my national day eve went and today, my national day's gna be a lot more boring. lit pt, here i come.


gosh i get so irritated with him sometimes. quit breathing down my neck already. seriously, i don't think he even trusts me. i've survived fifteen years of it. wonder how i did it. nagnagnag. the way he does it really gets on my nerves. i realise thats the whole point but its just so irksome. and he won. ugh.
