Christmas Parties

We had the Montague Christmas party early this year up in Heber. For the first time in a LONG time, everyone was able to make it and it was so fun! Claire got spoiled, as usual, and so did Jacob and I. It's so fun to be with family around the holidays! We are so blessed to have such awesome family on both sides.







We also had the annual Newbold BINGO party this last weekend as well. We were lucky enough to already be in Salt Lake so we were able to go! Jacob had to go home before the party because of work, but Claire and I were able to stay and enjoy the party! We ate delicious food, played BINGO and Claire got to sit on Santa's lap. It was such a fun night! Claire loved the wrapping paper more then the present it appears. Oh well, easily pleased! Can't wait for Christmas and all her other gifts, hope she has a hay day!

Home Sweet Home

I know this is a long overdue post but... WE MOVED!

St. George is now the place we call home and we couldn't be any more excited! Jacob got a job with Wadsworth Construction and the position happened to be in St. George, so we picked up and moved in the end of October. I'm now a stay at home mommy to sweet little Claire and I love it! We couldn't be more happy about the move and the change. Although we REALLY miss our family and friends, its been such a great experience for us to be here! We are loving the weather now, we'll see when the summer comes. Good thing we have a pool... that is where you will find me and Claire all summer. Can't wait!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we made the trek up to Salt Lake and did dinner with my family. Just like every other year, we ate way too much but had a lot of fun. And of course, we did the Black Friday thing again as well. We shopped from 10 PM Thanksgiving night until 6 AM the next morning.Although we did wait in line for Target outside for 2 hours, luckily some of the waiting was inside at other places because it was COLD! I think everyone got everything they went for and then some! It's such a fun tradition that I look forward to all year. It's so crazy, but so fun. Claire stayed home with dad this year and slept, I don't think she would have enjoyed it and it gave Jacob a reason to not have to come :) Shopping isn't his favorite at a reasonable hour, let alone at 2 AM. Claire's first Thanksgiving consisted of rice cereal, maybe next year she will be able to dive into the goods. We had such a fun time, thanks to everyone who was there! Jacob left early to go to the Henry Mountains with his brothers so I was able to stay a few more days and play with the family.


As you can see, Claire is getting HUGE!




She is coming up on 6 months and is getting SO big and cuter everyday! I'm loving this stage. She is much more interactive and full of funny expressions. Crazy how time flies...

Delicious!

Claire is now 4 months, well almost 5 now and growing like a weed! We just had her appointment and she is now 13 lbs and 23" long! She can still wear some 0-3 month clothes but is mostly in 3 months. We are lucky if I can get a 3-6 month on her. She is much longer than wide, but we aren't complaining. Don't we all wish we had that problem!? :) She did soo good at her shots, didn't even cry. I had to do them alone this time since Jacob was already down here in St. George working so I was a little worried. Thank heavens it went so smooth! She has now started on rice cereal and then we will be onto fruits next week! Her first experience was hilarious. She wasn't quite sure what to think of the cereal and the whole spoon idea and was so hungry by the end she was just done. She is eating like a champ now and has finally gotten the hang of it! Of course we took pictures and even a little video, a memory we don't want to forget! I can't get these to upload in order but you get the idea. The first bite was questionable for sure. We caught the best face!









I'm so excited for all these fun new things but sad at the same time because it means she is growing up! Guess that's what they do though! I'm so lucky to be able to stay home now and experience them all with her! Love this little girl to death!

Halloween 2010

It was Claire's first Halloween! I wish we could have gone more out on her costume, but since we were moving on Halloween weekend, we decided to do something more simple! Good thing she still looks adorable! We went to my moms the weekend before to celebrate with her delicious homemade soups and bread! I'm so glad most of the family was able to make it, so fun to see all the kids in their costumes! Claire was a pink cheetah/leopard this year! She looks so confused and perhaps overwhelmed by all the people and costumes in all these pictures, its so funny! Josh and his friends dress up every year and this year they did penguins, so he surprised all the kids and wore it to the family party. They all couldn't stop staring at him. Not sure if they loved it or if they were scared of it! haha







We had such a fun Halloween! Thanks mom for the party! Next year hopefully Claire will realize a little more what is going on. She will probably even be walking! Crazy!!!

Pumpkin Patch

It's Claires first Halloween! Some of my sisters and I took our kiddies to the pumpkin patch yesterday to find some pumpkins, but mostly just for pictures :) Claire did so good, except towards the end and she was all tuckered out! Missy showed me how to make this cute new bow, so we tried it out for her Halloween outfit-it turned out adorable! We'll be moving next weekend, so hopefully i'll be able to get Claire in her costume and at least take a few pics since it is her first Halloween and all!

Big... Big.. Big

I guess it's the true, the minute you have a baby your blog becomes all about them. Since i'm horrible at journaling though, this is it. This is where I can keep the memories and fun stages of little Claire's life, so sorry if my blog isnt fun anymore (or never was fun for that matter :) ) My little princess is 3 months old! Time has flown and we have been having so much fun. I love this stage, so much better then newborn if I dare say so. She is still so small, but getting so chunky and i'm loving it! Things about Claire:
~She sleeps 12 hours a night, fabulous!
~Lays and talks in her crib when she wakes up in the mornings
~Can hold her head up all by herself, almost, still just a bit wobbly
~FINALLY wearing her 0-3 and some 3 month clothes
~Loves attention from anyone
~Constantly sucking on her hand, not a finger, the whole hand
~Still just being a cute as be
