Washington County Fair

Wendy and I started out the evening with a ride on a camel, no biggie! It was pretty sweet, I'm not gonna lie. Especially his ginormous hump Wendy kept "petting". Haha Whoever knew a camel would be at the fair!

Then off to the petting zoo we went. Claire was OBSESSED with the lambs. She kept petting them and pulling her surprised face when they would move. She loved it.

After the petting zoo we took a food break; you can't go to the fair without getting something delicious and fattening. Claire and I chose nachos and a snow cone. Delightful as ever.

Then it was off to the rides. Since I became lame and get motion sick, me and Claire cheered on Wendy and Jacob on the rides. Much to their dismay; Jacob got a little queezy on the last ride so we topped off the night with the Ferris Wheel.

Sadly enough, I was clenching the bars for the first part of the ride, I'm a huge pansy. After we stopped every 2 seconds to get people on the ride was quite enjoyable! It was pretty to see so far and enjoy some time with the hubby. Love Wendy on the ground snapping pics each time around.

My favorite... Jacob says, "On the next time around, lets throw our hands up and look like we're screaming"; so of course I do it, and he doesn't... so I look like a complete idiot! Not to mention my arms look 4 feet long! Haha The Ferris Wheel was super fun!

Had a blast at the fair! Great fun and even got to enjoy some people watching!

New Toy!

Of all the toys Claire has, this is the new favorite.....

And somehow we seem to have one in every room of the house!

She will sit there and flick it over, and over, and over, AND over again!

She loves the noise it makes and it is so proud of herself for figuring it out!

I'm realizing the "toys" that are "free" always seem to be the best!

Whatever keeps her attention - I'll take it!

Claire's new thing is getting her right arm out of EVERYTHING! Not the left, or both... ONLY the right....

No matter how tight I do her car seat she somehow gets it out and she's always pulling it out of her shirts lately. Who knows why! Its totally funny though; she's so proud of herself after she gets it out.

Hopefully it's just a phase! :)

Boating!

I LOVE boating!! One thing I will NEVER turn down, even if its last minute! We were up in Salt Lake last weekend so Jacob could take a final so we decided to top off the weekend with a little trip to Utah Lake! We only went for a few hours but it was totally fun! Weather was perfect, great company and total relaxation! On the way home we stopped and went shooting! Such a fun weekend!

Can't wait for Bear Lake !

::Girls Night::

I love sitting around all night and laughing so hard you cry. I love being with people that just get you. I love the random conversations that pop up at 2 AM . I love seeing your best friends you haven't seen in years and it's like no time has passed at all. I LOVE girls nights! I have the most amazing friends ever, hands down. They are all such amazing people, I'm not sure how I got so lucky to have them in my life! Last weekend, all 9 of us got together and stayed at a hotel in downtown Salt Lake. There are no words for just how much fun we had. We did dinner, hot tubbing and talking and laughing till we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. Somehow, we only took a few pictures of the whole night, and that was at dinner.

I had such a fun time! It was a much needed getaway for all of us! I hope we've started a new tradition that we can carry on in the years to come. Thanks girlies, I had a blast!!
