Otter Creek 2012

We had so much fun this year at the Blad Family Cabin in Otter creek!  We are lucky enough to have a BIL who is a Blad! 

 The kids were very entertained by this stack of mattresses!

 And got along MOST of the time ;)

 The tree swing is always a highlight and  time for the old guys to show off their tricks!

 Tad pole fishing is a must....we have better luck with it than actual fishing!

 We played cards, volleyball and tetherball...which Broc so kindly had to teach me!

 We had such a great trip...until we got home....One minute Bodie is sleeping in the garage on his brand new pet bed...dreaming about all the fun he had at the cabin...jumping in and out of the pond and splashing everyone around him....running free and chasing mice....and the next we get a phone call that he had been run over by a car.  It was a sad sad night.  The boys really struggled with it. We will miss that furr ball!  Love you Bodie!

The JUMP

Jed had some leftover fines in a pile out back, so as boys do they decided to make a dirt bike jump for the boys.   We had a lot of fun watching them do it....HERE are my faves....

Boys Night at the RANCH

Broc and the boys have been begging for Grandma Lainie to let them sleep in the extra camper at the ranch....so she gave in.  She took them up and they hiked, found arrowheads, gathered acorns for their Mom {cause they are so cute}, played games with Grandma into the night, rode the tree swing, had S'mores and Hot chocoloate....How much better does it get?

They had so much fun....too bad they had to come home early Sunday for church......bummer!

Vegas

Jed and I have always wanted to try the Tournament of Kings show in Vegas...so this year I booked it!  It was our anniversary/mini family vacation.  

 This was our dinner....it was so yummy and we had to eat it with our hands...so much fun

We stayed at the Excalibur and took the kids to the arcade.....where they wasted some money and had fun doing it!

 We took in the sights...

 And watched the 3D M&M movie....

 Got a yummy Coke and Icee's at the coke store....

 We took the kids to the Bass Pro shop and this may have been the highlight of their whole trip...and Jed's!

 My Mom was able to come along and watch our kids so we could go out....so the girls were able to go see WICKED.  We had a blast...it was Amazing!  I love love loved it!

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day we really spent it laboring! Well, Jed did most of the labor...we all just watched!

 We went up to the ranch for breakfast and Lainey helped Gma Lainie in the kitchen.

 The kids raided Gma's prize bags...

 We went swinging...

 And this is what Jed did...and will be doing for the next three weeks....It looks amazing!

 Then Gma Lainie made us dinner to reward us (JED) for all our hard work...

and Lainey had to get more dessert on her face than in  her little mouth...
