Christmas

Christmas was so fun this year! Deacon was super excited all month and never stopped singing Christmas songs!! We were able to get all the children and grandchildren together to get a family picture taken to surprise my parents for Christmas!

I learned how to make candy!

Deacon got an Iron man mask from Santa which apparently he has been waiting and waiting for!

I got super cute boots from my parents!

And me and Alisha got snuggies from my brother! And I guess that snuggies add twenty pounds cause I totally look like I'm pregnant!

Wreath

I don't have internet at my apartment right now so I am sorry for the Halloween background for the last two months!
I wanted to post my Christmas wreath on here cause it sure took a LONG time to make so I have to show it off! I found some red balls at Hobby Lobby and I just hot glued them onto a Styrofoam wreath. I think if I was ever to do this again I would spray paint the wreath first just because some of the white showed thru.

To get this far this was about six hours of work! My sister made one and she finished hers in one night. I am not sure how she accomplished this!

But after about ten hours and 20 glue sticks later I was done! And I am quite proud of it!!

Candy Corn Tree

Yup...I am becoming a crafting fool! Tonight I made this super cute candy corn tree. And it was super easy! All you need is a vase, some sticks from a tree, and a bag of candy corns! It seriously cost me like $5 to make and only took like ten minutes to put together!

Went to the pumpkin patch today... Picked out some good pumpkins and...

Had Deek put some stickers on one...

So excited for Halloween!!! I just love to be at home and stare at my dining room all decked out for Halloween!!

Desperate Times call for...Broken Toes?

Over the weekend my cousin Mandy got married! I wish I had a picture of her at her wedding cause she was GORGEOUS!! But like always I forgot my camera. So here is a picture of her at her shower. But anyways her wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast!Well when it came time to catch the bouquet I was excited because I have never been able to be apart of that! So I was prepared to win! Unfortunately another girl was even more prepared then me! Mandy threw the flowers and we both jumped and she had one end and I had the other! And in the midst of all the chaos she stomped on my foot with her three inch stilettos and was even heard later on in the evening that if I had not let go of the flowers she would have punched me in the face! Whatever crazy girl! I have already been married once so if you want it that bad then you can have it! But anyways here is the result of her stomping on my foot! Can we say OUCH?!

Planty

So I recently purchased a plant for my kitchen. I know! This is a big commitment for me! But it has been alive for a whole eight days! I am very proud of my little planty! But I am afraid that it won't stay alive for long because my cats are constantly eating it! I just don't understand their obsession with eating plants. I mean once Butters ate a Venus fly trap!(sorry about that Johnny) Does anyone have any ideas on how to not get your cats to eat plants?!

Crafty or Crappy?!

I have gone from Crappy to Crafty! I had to blog about my Halloween craft because for those of you who know me know that I am in no way crafty! I have always wanted to be and believe me I try. But they always turn out badly! But last night me and my sister made these cute Halloween signs. I am so proud of it I had to show it off!

Guess what I did today!!

Its two thumbs up for another poop in the big boy potty!!! I can't believe he is finally getting potty trained I never thought that this day would come! And for how hard it was in the beginning to even get him to sit on the potty it now seems like a breeze! I am so proud of my little man and can't believe how fast he is growing up!! I am such a lucky mom to be able to have this special little man in my life!!

The Batman

Recently Deacon has become OBSESSED with Batman...too the point where he will not answer you when you call him unless you call him Batman! He even talks in a deeper voice! Hahaha! That boy sure cracks me up! Well today when I went to pick him up from his Grandma Christy's he had an awesome batman costume on! He has been busy fighting crime all day! I am so glad I have this little crime fighter to keep good care of me!

I heart him!

So excited to be having a date with this guy every Sunday night!! I mean come on! Who couldn't want to stare at him every week??!!

Yup...

I have been doing a whole lot of staring at this guy this weekend!

Family Time

Today most of my family got together at my cousin Tasha's new house. It was so fun to see all the kids play together and us adults got to catch up! I tried to get a picture of all the young cousins but I couldn't get them all to do it at the same time. So here is a pic of Deacon and Taylor. They are super cute!

DG Tour 2010 was a success!!

Well me and Jules had an AMAZING time in Vegas! I already can't wait for DG Tour 2011! We met some Aussies, didn't pay for a single drink, layed out at the pool, slept in, stayed up all night, enjoyed a glorious spa day with a naked lady eating subway in the hot tub, danced our hearts out at a gay club, had some really good team meetings,played alot of monopoly,made a nice cooler out of our bathroom sink, and then when we went to go home we found out that somewhere in the midst of all that fun I had lost my car keys! So it took us a while to make it home but even with that MAJOR mishap it was probably THE best time I have ever had in Vegas!! I have alot of pics but I don't want to take the time to post them on here. So check them out on my facebook page!!

It's official... Deek loves horses just as much as his momma!

On Sunday me and my friends took the kiddos to Wheeler Farm. It was so much fun to watch the kids run around and play! I am so glad that the weather is finally getting a bit warmer so we can enjoy the sunshine. Deek loves to be outside! I think Deeks favorite part was the horses. He didn't want to leave he was having so much fun feeding them the hay. I was surprised that he would even touch them. Cause this boy is super afraid of most everything!

It was so nice outside that we had to take advantage of it! Me and Deacon had so much fun running around on the grass and throwing pine cones! I can't wait for summer so we can play outside everyday. Deacon couldn't get enough!

This would have been a good one if there wasn't a giant stick in front of my face! Oh well...at least he let me take another sans stick!
