Girl on a farm

Since I had my camera I had to stop and take some pictures of the girls in the fields, but only one would cooperate.....

Bailey's

I love this place! Bailey's is a great little farm where you can go pick your own vegetables for super cheap. Since I don't have a garden this has been so nice. I haven't spent more than $5. The girls love to carry the buckets, run around in the dirt, and pick the dandelions! I have been there almost every other day since the corn has been ready, {still waiting on those tomatoes to turn red!}. Yesterday the girls helped me pick beans, squash, carrots, corn, and potatoes. We came home and made soup and had corn on the cob, so yummy!

{Girls}

I feel like these two are always doing something new, so I thought I would post some of their latest.


{grace}
She is always coming up with something new to say to us. Here are some of her best lines.
"watch me a trick" {and then she sticks her leg out, or dances around for .5 seconds}
"hot cheese samich" {this is what she calls a grilled cheese sandwich, and she reminds me if I just say cheese sandwich that she wants it hot!}
"I think" {this usually concludes most sentences. she told Jonathan one day that he owed her some money....... and ended with "I think"}
"when I was your age" {this is what she says to me alot. She asked me if she had a pony when she was my age.}
"wanna wrestle in my room?" {she loves to wrestle after bath, we don't really wrestle so much, we just tickle her. I will get some footage of that and post it!}
"Privacy, I need privacy" {She no longer wants help going to the bathroom, she hold her hand up and tells us she needs privacy. Im sure she picked this up from her dad, this is what he says to them every day when he gets home from work!}
"Whats going on here!" {I didn't know where she got this until I heard myself saying that to her and her sister all the time!}

"Talk to me!" {She gets so mad if we just say "uh huh" to her, she insists that we talk to her with words even if "uh huh" is the answer.}

She decided that she is her own boss and she can say almost any word we ask her to. She is finally communicating a little more, and surprises me almost every day with a new word she learned.
"chaca mulk" {this is chocolate milk, Jonathan gave it to her while I was away one evening and now she asks for it all day!}
"where daddy go?"
"I don't like it!" {she lets me know when I feed her something she does not like}

This is the top part of the falls, it was so beautiful and humid there!

PeTtInG FaRM

I took the girls to a petting farm. They had a great time petting all the baby animals. The goats and the calves are always the best to see and pet. Addison was a little nervous to pet them, she would hurry and touch them and then run back to me with a huge smile. She thought she was pretty brave. Grace seemed like she was at home with all the animals, the cows especially (I guess she didn't mind all the poo on their bums!!). After that we had lunch in the park there and played. Grace also went in the sprinkler part of the park, but it was a little too cold for Addie.
