six months
such a happy baby, loves hair, kicks her legs when she gets excited, finally rolls over, mama's girl, loves bath time, loves to grab faces (especially dad's), giggles at her crazy sisters.

{ oh baby }
I took these weeks ago when she turned 6 months old, but now she is almost 7 months old! Stop growing please......

{ Grace lost her first tooth..... and then lost her first tooth }
I just wanted to pull that wiggly little bugger out! It wiggled for days and days until finally Jonathan helped it out with some floss. So exciting for that little girl!
Her tooth came out and then she held that tiny thing in her hand and dropped it on the beige carpet. We looked and looked and finally (hours later) found that little tooth! She was so excited to put it in her tooth fairy pillow that night. Then the tooth fairy was so tired that she forgot to come until the next morning!! Luckily she left such a nice note and a dollar that Grace didn't mind at all. {I however will feel bad for years to come}

I can't believe my little Grace is SIX! She is growing up to fast, I can hardly pick her up anymore!
She celebrated with lots of friends with a Tangled Birthday party!
I was a bit frazzled on the day of her party ( I seem to be that a lot lately ) and I thought that I could entertain 15 six year old girls by myself and take pictures. Not so much. Luckily I had about 2 minutes before the partly to take some pictures and even got one of the Birthday girl but none of the party or games! It was a crazy party!!
I actually had a lot of fun planning and making the decorations for her party. It was a fun theme!
I bought the biggest roll of yellow yarn I could find and made lots of Rapunzel hair!

{ I bought styrafoam cones, glued some glitter on them, put a wood ball on for the head and glued on some yarn and made some Rapunzel dolls } these were so fun and easy to make!

Everyday Addie tries to make "deals" with us.... they are quite amusing. For example, she will tell me that she will buy me whatever I want if I will just buy her the barbie she wants. Then she says, "is that a deal?" If we say no deal, she goes on and on about being the worstest mom she ever had and that I ruined her whole day, then she tries again an hour later! This is what she told her dad today....
"Daddy, I'm gonna fire you unless you buy me the barbie with the alien I want!"
She tries everyday to make us buy her this barbie!
Her favorite word(s) of the week........ damn it. The other day I took the garbage out and when I came back in the door she thought I was daddy. When I said it was just me she did a double fist pump to the ground and said her favorite word. I often hear her using this word casually while playing Barbie's with her sister, or alone. The other day we were at a stop light and she used her favorite word 3 times to tell the car in front of us to get going! When Jonathan took her to bed the other night she found something out of place and said, "what the crap! what happened to my damn book?!" So I told her that was a naughty word, which made it even more popular in her vocabulary, so now I'm choosing to ignore it??
Today Addison told me out of the blue that she wanted to learn all of the words to "All the Single Ladies". I guess she is tired of walking around just singing the chorus. I didn't know she was such a big Beyonce fan.
This week has been busy for her, she has also discovered the art of sticking her tongue out at me. It is hard not to laugh because she does it with such hesitation, and guilt on her face. She has been in her room a lot!
Lastly, she tells us at least once a day that she hates us. All it takes is a simple no to a question and we get the "I hate you!"

{ REWIND }
{january}
We swim, we dance, we school....Addison started preschool and dance! Grace started up swimming lessons again, and advanced another level!

{told me she was not going to smile for her picture, then cried and said she wanted one of her smiling!}
I have some of Grace at swim lessons on my bloggie..... now if I would sit down and figure out how to get them onto here!!
{friends moving}
One of my good friends moved to California, we were so sad to see them go! Remember my talented photographer friend Jamie and her daughter? Grace will miss her buddy Ty and Addie keeps asking when we are moving to California. I will miss a good friend and mentor! This is the only picture I think I have with her, too bad I didn't put on makeup or brush my hair that day!
Her friend gave her this locket with a picture of each of them in it, they both have one, and Grace has to wear this on most days and for sure on special occasions.

{ some new sparkle }
I have a bunch I need to put on the blog, but we told Addie we would put this on the blog for grandmas and aunts to see.....
Grace got a gift card for her birthday to Claire's and we told her she could get her ears pierced if she wanted. No way, she was not interested at all. Addie chimed in and said she would. I rolled my eyes because she always says she will do something ( like sit on Santa's lap ) and then changes her mind right before.
Grace picked out a necklace and Addie sat bravely on her dads lap ( I was too chicken, and Grace couldn't even watch ) and got hers ears pierced!! She panicked for a moment but the sparkle was too much to resist. She started to squirm when they cleaned her ears and I thought for sure she was not going to do it, she whispered to her dad- "that didn't hurt at all" and when he told her they just cleaned them she looked a little sad. But she did it, and loves her sparkly pink earrings. She cried for a minute, but she says she would do it again :)
