{ Santa }

We had plenty of time to talk to Addie in line, she was prepped, she was going to be brave, she was going to sit on Santa's lap.  Nope.  Well not willingly.

She said she would do it next year.  She also said that is was because she was hungry and we need to feed her first.

I love to get at least one new thing for our decorations every year, this year I found these place card holders, but instead used them to hold pictures of the girls above their stocking on the fireplace.  These are definitely my favorite new thing this year!

{ meet Frank }

I forgot we bought this last year after Christmas, it was fun to find him in our Christmas boxes. 

 The is our elf that we named Frank.  He comes with a little book about how he watches you every day and then reports back to Santa each night and returns to a new spot every morning.  The girls loved waking up in the morning and looking for Frank.  (He only forgot to go to the North Pole two nights! oops.)

Finding the perfect Christmas tree is serious business at the Bennett's. 

 We visited 2 tree farms this year to find

 This was probably the best part for the girls.

 We wanted a skinny tree this year..... (to match Jonathan's skinny jeans.)

Here is the part where I win mother of the year.  This kid was frozen!!!  The sun tricked me.  I learned in the car that this kid wasn't even wearing socks.  I felt so bad, she was so sad by the time we finally found a tree.

**I better put a disclaimer on here so J doesn't kill me.  He absolutely hates skinny jeans....  I was totally kidding! 

{ november snow }

Time to start blogging again!

so here we go....

It did in fact snow in November and we did enjoy the little bit we got.  We took a walk not intending on getting wet or too cold, but within the first 2 minutes Addie was making a snow angel in her leggings!
