SO VERY THANKFUL......

I forgot the camera, so no pictures. I will steal some from my sister!!

We were in Idaho for Thanksgiving this year. It was a great Thanksgiving. I love, love, love, this time of year. We went "home" on Wednesday to my parents house. Thursday was Thanksgiving dinner. My dad had a Turkey Hunt for the kids while us ladies started the cooking. I must say that my mom is an amazing person. She is an amazing cook, and was so organized. I don't know how she does it, but I hope to be just like her someday. It's not looking good though.... I don't have such great cooking skills. Preparing dinner is one of my most favorite parts. The Macey's Day Parade in the background, all the kids gobbling around the house on the turkey hunt, the gorgeous table settings, all the food, the laughs, etc. I love it. My mom does not hold back on anything. The thing I missed the most was Megan and Lesli. They were not able to come home this year. They were very missed and thought of often.
Dinner was delicious. Everything was perfect. It was so good. The turkey, the rolls, the potatoes, the green salad, the jello salad, the pomegranate salad, the corn, the stuffing, the yams(which I really don't like), the veggie tray, etc. was all so good. I probally gained 25 pds. just in one day. Did I mention it was delicious? The rest of the day was very nice. We just chilled, took some pictures, had the traditional "Thanful Fishing Pond" for the kids, a sweet game of BINGO with sweet prizes, bowling- which Sage thought was the most amazing thing ever, more food and of course pie, and games. It was a very successful Thanksgivng Day.
Friday- we didn't get up at 5 am to go shopping!! Thank goodness. We didn't really see anything we wanted to fight the crowds over, so we bagged getting up early, and just went out that afternoon. Later we came home and went and shot shotguns. It was fun. We then ate more food and played more games.
Saturday- BYU vs. UTAH. Great game. It definately kept us on our toes. Poor Cam and Sage, the only ones dressed in Red, were definately out numbered, but were very good sports. We had tons of food for the game. Once again- gained another 10 pds. GO COUGARS!!
Sunday- church, pack, and drive home. Sad to say good-bye, but a great weekend.
We had a great time, and I am very Thankful for Family. They are everything to me. I have amazing parents who made this Thanksgiving one of the best. I love them.

My own little family. I love Sage. Just love her. She makes me smile everyday. My life would be so boring without her. She really is my everything. I love Cam. I love how much he loves me. I love everything about him. I love how much he loves his daughter, and how she is wrapped around his finger. I am so thankful to spend everyday with him. He makes me happy. He is amazing! I love my little dog, Belle. She will always be my best friend. I am so thankful for our little girl who is not here yet. I am so excited for Sage to have a sister.

New York 2009

New York is one of my most favorite places to visit! I love everything about it. This was my third time being over there. It was one of my most favorite times. The best part was being there with my mom, sisters, and sister in law. The worst part was being 31 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't say the worst part.... I just felt huge, and felt like I was slowing the other girls down. They were great though! It wasn't that bad! We went to there to visit Megan. She was the best hostess ever. We had a great time. So many laughs and late nights. I hated saying good bye her!

Brooke and I met up with my mom and Shay in Salt Lake, and then met up with Lesli in Ohio. We all flew together to New York. From there it was one adventure after another. My mom was amazing. She made the whole trip great. My dad contributed as well (dinner and Lion King). Thanks Dad. I love all my sisters, including my sister in law. We all get along so well. This trip only brought us closer. I love that Meg lives in New York, and lets us come to visit her. Her husband Joe is amazing too. He put up with 6 girls in his apartment and 1 bathroom. He was great. Meg kept us so organized and was such a great tour guide. The poor girl even had a cold the whole time. She never stopped! Thanks Megs!

There were people everywhere. So much paper and stuff all over the roads. It was crazy, but so glad we were there to be a part of.

We went to sacrament meeting. Meg lives about 3 blocks from the temple, where the church building is as well. It was fun.

Of all my times visiting New York I have never seen the Naked Cow Boy until this past trip. I was so excited, and then all of a sudden, I was disgusted. He is pretty yuck! He would make these disgusting faces, and grab girls hands and put them on his butt. We tried to get my mom to take a picture with him, but she wouldn't. (It was pretty funny)!

The Lion King. It was an amazing show. I loved it. I love watching broadways. This was a great one. The animals were pretty cool.

Meg's apartment. It is such a cute apartment. We loved it. This shows all our beds where we were sleeping. We cleaned it up everymorning, and you would never know you were there. We tried to stay very organized.

Thanks to all of our husbands who watched the kids. They were the best to let us go to New York and shop and play 24-7.

First Snow Fall

We've already seen the snow in Idaho, but we finally woke up to snow at our house yesterday morning. I love the snow, I love winter, I love the holidays. I am so excited for the next upcoming months. Thanksgiving, Christmas, a new little girl, it doesn't get much better.

Sage is especially getting excited for Christmas, and the snow made her that much more excited. She had to go out and play in it immediately.

Of course, the sun came out, and melted away our snow. So it went from winter back to fall, and then the clouds rolled back in, bringing another storm, and our grass is still covered.

So this is the same afternoon.... Sage and her Dad, dressed for the game (which they got killed)! Too bad!

You won't ever see me in a Utah shirt! But these two sure make the cutest Ute fans ever!

Halloween 2009

Sage loved Halloween this year. From decorating cookies, to painting/carving pumpkins, to getting dressed up, to getting tons of candy. She loved everything about it. It was a fun Halloween.

The only thing she didn't like was getting sick the day before. On Friday night she broke out in a pretty high fever. That's pretty rare for Sage, seeming she doesn't get sick very often. So Saturday, we had planned to go to some friends for a party and trick-or-treating, but decided it might not be a good idea with Sage. She had no other symptoms... just a fever, so I wasn't sure what it was. So we just layed low during the day on Saturday, then later on, she still wanted to get dressed up and do a little trick-or-treating. We went out to my sisters, over to another friends house, then up to Salt Lake to do a little more trick-or-treating, and watch the Utah game. She was such a trooper even when she felt so yucky! She thought dressing up and getting her face painted was the most amazing thing ever!!

DADdy tRies 2 BloG

Well Mich is out of town and since she updates her blog every 36 hours i thought i better get things under control for her. Let me just say this i have NO freakin idea what Im doing!!


Mich has been in New York with her mom and her sisters which left me and the rage at home alone. Trust me the house is still standing.


I guess the highlight of our weekend was when we decided to enjoy this awesome weather we are having and rip up the golf course(mich would say its my first true love, second only to her) with my father and father in law, AWKWARD, not really

So i throw sage in the basket on the cart, where she loves to ride, and i turn on her movie. Play a few holes and she wants to color, so i give some of my balls to color. She likes to color my balls you see. And i only use sharpies to mark balls with so thats all i had in my bag, ok that sounds really bad but bear with me, So she coloring away and we are putting on the green and she is being very quite, hmm i think, not so good. So we finish putting and walk to the cart and sure enough not good...... see above. That is permanent marker may i remind you.

so the little freak and i are having a good time while moms away, Mcdonalds and Maverik every meal what more can two little buddies ask for.

Needless to say im freaking out here. Being mom and dad for just 5 days has drained me. I give props to all the moms out there reading this, you guys are worth your weight in gold and to all the single moms out there my hat is off to you.

Well now that ive been trying to blog for the past 3 1/2 hours and have only done this much IM OUT.......

Sage finally gets her bed!

Sage finally gets her big girl bed! We decided since she is 2 1/2, and we have a new one on the way, we better get her in a big girls bed! She was always so good in her crib, never tried to climb out, so we just left her in there. Brooke gave us their old twin bed, since their kids don't need it anymore, and it has been sitting in my garage waiting to be painted.
While we were in Idaho, Cam painted the bed, took out her crib, and put the bed up in her room. He is wonderful, and she loved it. She has made the transition very easy. I don't know if she realizes she can get out of it. She slept great the first night, and every night since.

We had to get one while she was sleeping. Why are they so precious when they sleep? I could watch her forever.

Idaho....... go figure!!

Sage and I went to Idaho last weekend. Lesli was home from Texas for the week, for our cousin's wedding. So we went home to spend some time with her and visit the rest of the family. Cam had work so he stayed home. We went up on Thursday after the ceremony (which was very nice). On Friday we went to the reception in a little town called Raft River. It was outdoors, and cold, but it was very pretty, and the food was delicious. We went with my mom, dad, Mike, Shay, their 2 kids, and Les. Saturday, my dad, who is the best, watched Sage all day so we could go shopping. We went down to Idaho Falls, shopped, met Shay for lunch, and all went to Mini Bazaar. It is a craft store, which is only open a few times a year. It's a treat when we are home and it is going on. I love that place. Sunday was Conference, so we hung out, did the conference thing, ate, played games, etc. It was nice. Monday, we were coming back home to Utah, and woke up to SNOW! I loved it. I'm not ready for winter yet, but knew this wouldn't last long, so I loved it. This is why I love Idaho so much.... so unpredictable.
