Second Christmas with Nana and Papa

A couple days after Christmas my parents arrived. We enjoyed our second Christmas day! We hung out in our jammies for a second time and it was great! My parents stayed until New Years. We had a lot of fun with them.

We had a very nice Christmas Day this year. We woke up to a white Christmas!

We enjoyed a nice relaxing day with the boys.

Tanner made this for me!

It was fun to watch Austin this Christmas! He got so excited about his presents. He was in heaven when he realized he could eat as much candy as he wanted. Unfortunately, he doesn't understand that the rule only applies to Christmas Day. Now he wants candy all the time. Whoops!

Kaden has really gotten into football lately, especially the Indianapolis Colts. I think he wore his jersey all weekend!

Tanner was content to hang out on the couch reading his new books while listening to his ipod.

The other boys headed up to play some video games.

One of the presents Nana and Papa gave us this year was a chime set. The boys love it! In fact we hear it played almost every day. They will play songs together or by themselves. Kaden really got into it, he even played with his hands and feet once!

In the afternoon we went outside to play with some new toys. Trevor and Devon tried out their remote control cars, while Chad played catch with Kaden.

Christmas Eve

This year we had about 50 people at our house for Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful time eating, talking and sharing in the Christmas spirit.

The children put on the Nativity for everyone. It was really cute! The boys were Wisemen.

Everyone was a little nervous about having so many people over, but it turned out really well. Everyone had gone home by 7:30 pm, so we were able to quickly clean up and begin our Christmas Eve traditions. The boys, of course, got the traditional pajamas!

Then they set out a letter and goodies for Santa. Look at Trevor's cute letter.

It was a wonderful day.

Sander's Visit

Lindsay, Cameron and Colby came to visit us right before Christmas this year. We had a lot of fun hanging out and going to the Children's Museum up in Indianapolis.

For Christmas, they gave our family a cool present . . . star wars pancake molds! The boys absolutely love the molds. They want to make pancakes for breakfast every morning now!
