Sledding

Today we took Callie down to my parents house for her first real experience sledding. The hills at the park in their neighborhood are the perfect size for her. She had a blast and once she got to the bottom of the hill she kept saying "again."

Snow

We had a pretty good snow storm this past Saturday so Jace had his first experience with the snow. He wasn't a huge fan.

It was perfect snow for making a snowman so Nate decided to help Callie make one. Picture below if them starting the first snow ball for the snowman's body.

By the next morning the snowman was already melting so his hat fell off. It was cute because Callie insisted on going outside and putting the snowman's hat back on so he wouldn't get cold. She was pretty concerned about him.

Temple Square

Last week we took Callie to see the lights at temple square. We dropped Jace off at my sisters house so we would not have to take him out in the cold. Here are some of the pictures we took.

December Activities

I threw a little Christmas party for all of Callie's little friends on Dec 1. It was a lot of fun. They decorated a tree, colored, made a snowman out of stickers, played pin the nose on Rudolph and then watched a movie. And all of the while the moms got to sit and visit. Below is a picture of as many kids as we could get to stand still. I think we had 12 near her age and then 5 more toddlers and babies so it was a house full. It will be great for Callie if all of these families stick around here. I invited 14 kids, all within 8 months of her age and 12 of then are girls.m

Here is a picture of how they did on the game. Of course the one that is right on the nose was put there after one of the kids took their blindfold off.

Callie's dance class held a little recital. I had a little fun that morning and put some make-up on her. She danced to Jingle bells. Well she was supposed to dance to Jingle Bells, but she just stood there. Oh well, at least she wasn't crying.

We went to the annual Nyberg Christmas party. It was a lot of fun and there is always good food. The little ones exchange presents. Jace got a truck and Callie got a necklace and some lip gloss. Below is a picture of all of the great-grandchildren that were there.

I took Callie to the mall so she could sit on Santa's lap. She was being pretty shy so we couldn't get her to smile for the picture, but once again at least she wasn't crying.
