Baptism

Logan got baptized April 7. We had friends from the ward come, friends from out of town, and of course our families. I forgot to get a picture of the group!

He said he was a little nervous. He's not the biggest fan of getting water on his face. But he did fine and we're all so proud of him!

March

March:

Started off a little slow but then we had Logans birthday. He turned 8. We had birthday parties, school music program, a trip down to salt lake for Cory's mission reunion, then Logans baptism and luncheon to worry about. Before I knew it, it was April.

Logan wanted a lego ninjago party and cake. I was freaking out wondering how I was going to make a ninja cake when I saw this edible cake image on ebay and I emailed them with Logans name and they printed it up and sent to me within the week- so cool.

My little goofy heads. lol. Didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but they're just for kids and they're going to be eaten...

holy moly update

November:

For Thanksgiving we would stay home (in boise) so we decided to carry on that tradition here. We invited some family but they went somewhere else. So it was just our little family again and that was fine. I didn't have to clean my house and play hostess!

December:

We did chinese dinner on christmas eve with Corys family and then went to a church and played games and volleyball with mine. It was corys' familys turn for Christmas so we ate dinner with them. Usually we'd travel from home to be with extended family, my kids haven't had christmas morning at our house, it's always been at grandmas. It was fun being able to have it at our own house.

January:

Just the same old thing. School for the kids, work for Cory. Nothing exciting

Feburary:

More of the same. Getting cabin fever with no snow on the ground but still really cold outside.

Halloween

We went to the Church's trunk or treat. It started at 5:30 and we got there about 5:55 and there were about 6 cars left. Kinda lame. It was a stake thing too. We asked the kids if they wanted to knock on doors in the neighborhood by the church but they said no. It was kinda windy and cold. Plus they got a TON of candy from their parties at school.

2 ladybugs and Logan is a "stealth ninja" it has a mask but he didn't want to wear it.

Trip to Boise

A few weeks ago Cory had a buisness meeting over in Boise, the kids were out for parent teacher conferences so we all went. I think I spent about 3 hours at Hobby Lobby. :) Love. We went back on Saturday too! Saturday we went to the Zoo. The last few years we bought a pass and would go almost every saturday.

The leaves were changing colors and were so pretty!

I question the older 2's judgement...they let the baby drive? :)

I love how happy rea is in this photo, I wish Brooklyn was a little taller. We walked back to the car through the rose garden. I was surprised there were so many still in bloom.

It was a fun but fast trip. I almost don't like going there because it makes me home sick all over again. It was good to see old friends when we went to church on Sunday.

Reagan's birthday

So I'm a month late... Reagan had her first birthday last month.

She wasn't sure what was going on, but I think she had fun.

While we were singing to her, she's looking at us like, "what are you all doing?"

We had both grandmas and pas come over and opened presents and had cake and ice cream then had dinner a little while later. I think that's how every meal should be. Dessert first... :)
