Halloween

We went to the Church's trunk or treat. It started at 5:30 and we got there about 5:55 and there were about 6 cars left. Kinda lame. It was a stake thing too. We asked the kids if they wanted to knock on doors in the neighborhood by the church but they said no. It was kinda windy and cold. Plus they got a TON of candy from their parties at school.

Trip to Boise

A few weeks ago Cory had a buisness meeting over in Boise, the kids were out for parent teacher conferences so we all went. I think I spent about 3 hours at Hobby Lobby. :) Love. We went back on Saturday too! Saturday we went to the Zoo. The last few years we bought a pass and would go almost every saturday.

The leaves were changing colors and were so pretty!

I love how happy rea is in this photo, I wish Brooklyn was a little taller. We walked back to the car through the rose garden. I was surprised there were so many still in bloom.

It was a fun but fast trip. I almost don't like going there because it makes me home sick all over again. It was good to see old friends when we went to church on Sunday.

Reagan's birthday

So I'm a month late... Reagan had her first birthday last month.

She wasn't sure what was going on, but I think she had fun.

While we were singing to her, she's looking at us like, "what are you all doing?"

yum!!

We had both grandmas and pas come over and opened presents and had cake and ice cream then had dinner a little while later. I think that's how every meal should be. Dessert first... :)

School

The kiddos finally went back to school. Logan is my big 2nd grader and Brooklyn is in Kindergarten.

This is logan's first day. Brooklyn had a 30 min meeting thing and then we went home.

Logan is such a great big brother. They ride the bus together in the morning and the first morning Brooklyn was riding it she hesitated after she got out of the car and wanted Cory to go with her but Logan grabbed her hand and said, "come on Brooklyn". He walks her to the door she's supposed to go in once they get to school. After school I was asking him if he took her to her door and he said, "yeah mom, don't worry, I took really good care of her" They both seem to like school and I think they have really good teachers.

Summer time

We've had fun this summer, just over a month before school-crazy! (even crazier, if we still lived in meridian we'd have about 2 weeks before school!)

We put Logan in baseball this year, He had fun, lost interest in the 3rd to last game, but he can hit pretty good and catch, when he's paying attention! :)

The batting helmets are HUGE! Logan would swing and they'd come around his head, then he has to hang onto it when running. So funny!

Don't know why but this picture reminds me of the roadrunner.

Out in left field

We went to the I.F. zoo with some friends. I'm awesome and didn't get pictures of all the kids. I went with 2 other mommies and we all have 3 kids and one mommy is cooking her 4th.

Tomlinson family reunion 2011

Every year my side of the family goes camping in July. My grandparents started this tradition YEARS ago. They passed away 15 and 13 years ago. (I think..correct me if I'm wrong!) My grandparents had 9 kids (2 uncles have passed away) and some of my uncles have 6-8 kids each and now most of the cousins are all having kids, so it's fun when we can all get together. I don't remember the final count this year, it was kinda small, I think 50ish people was all.

On Saturday night we have a little "talent show". You can get up and do whatever you want, songs, skits, stories...
