Joe was given tickets to go see a stage performance of Peter Pan from someone at work. We appreciated the generosity and gladly put them to use! We packed up for a road trip and set out to Dubuque Iowa. It is funny how girls "pack" for all the just in case senearios, they packed books, dolls bush, shoes, water bottle, pajamas, pillows and a teddy bear. And Ryan packed a pillow and a few Legos. The girls asked why he and Jordan didn't pack anything, to which I replied they did, a pillow and pjs was all I said to pack"
The kids did great on the 3 hr drive there. We stopped for dinner at the 2 he mark which was nice but actually made it a 3 1/2 hr drive.
We got there, brushed hair and put on shoes and headed into the theatre for the show!
They all really enjoyed the show, even little Jordan sat content through the whole performance. We are planning our next trip for the another performance of the next production of Cinderella!
The drive home was even nicer...since they all fell asleep and it was quiet the while way home!! :-) (the flash woke her up and made her squint during the picture, she kind of looks upset but she really was sleeping lea fully like an angel until I went and did that!) haha
