He is getting so big

I can hardly believe how big my little boy is getting. He has gone from being this shy little guy that wouldn't even talk to our neighbors, to a strong, brave big boy that says prayers in church and reads animal reports to his fellow first grade classmates. I am so proud of him!!

P.S. He would like me to tell you that King Cobras are the only snake that can spit their venom. Isn't that cool?!

...is the question that I asked when I saw this. I didn't get mad though because her older siblings did it and it was funny. She stayed there for at least an hour all snuggled up and comfy in the laundry basket. Weirdo.

District Science Fair

"Did they just say 2nd place? Oh my heck!!!"

Yep!! That's our smarty pants Meghan! She got 2nd place at the District Science Fair. She received a cash prize of $10 (which is huge to a 12 year old!) and has been invited to the Weber State University Science Fair. Wow!!

My Valentines Day date

...is the cutest one I have ever had! We ate nuggets together and giggled like little girls (not too hard since ONE of us still IS a little girl). Love this girl!!

Besties

I have one or two...Besties, that is. I love them all. They make me better and bring joy into my life. My best friend Deanne has been my best friend for over 30 years! I can't imagine my life without her. I am especially lucky now that she lives in Utah with her husband and kids while her hubby goes back to school to get his MBA. We would like to see each other more often than we do, but still seeing her every other month is more than I have been able to for the last 10 years.

We got together for lunch in Salt Lake. It was the best lunch date I have had in a while!

We LOVE Jimmer too!

We love BYU!! We love Football games and our recent favorite (of the last couple of years) is Basketball games. We are lucky enough to live fairly close to Provo and are able to take the kids occasionally to events down there. We took them to a basketball game and loved it because we got to see Jimmer in action....and who doesn't love that? The kids had a blast!! I daresay that Sidney had the most fun because she got to hang out with Grannie and Gramps and be spoiled rotten while we were at the game.

When Mike and I take our kids to visit their grandparents, we are usually having so much fun visiting and being there with our parents that I personally forget to take pictures of the special moments that occur. I actually remembered my camera (for once) when we stayed overnight at Mike's parent's house and was able to catch some fun moments.
