Just in case you were wondering, we are just a few days away from Christmas 2013. 
But until then, it’s time to put away the Christmas 2012 stuff and a good helper is hard to find, but I didn’t do too bad this week!
Jackson made this candle holder for us at school. Isn’t it beautiful? I love it!
Miles, a friend from school, came over to play. The boys were so glad to see each other and to say they had fun is putting it mildly. Here they are chasing down monsters -- AKA Sadie Rose. They were armed with their cell phones, flashlights and police batons, or in this case an umbrella and miniature bat!
And every once in a while, a few upper cut punches were thrown to unsuspecting bystanders! 
Santa made a special delivery last night coming thru with the request of a football and field goal, along with a bag full of toys!! The trampoline was too big for the sleigh, so Santa just left that in a box on the front step for mom and dad to put together later.
Jackson awoke at 7:40 to find the goods!
Jackson had to change into his football player clothes before a present could be opened… and true to his daddy’s personality, not a bit of trash could be left on the floor and all the presents had to be neatly stacked out of sight. Anyways, Santa delivered new drum sticks, Candy Land, Hungry Hippo’s, a new Texas Tech jersey, cap, and football, some new socks and underwear, along with some bathtub letters, nerf bullets, Gator Golf, blue sneakers, the Lorax, and an assortment of books and puzzles. Great stuff for a day stuck indoors and in our jammies in between naps!

Tonight, we joined Aunt Sam and Kaleb for a ride on The Polar Express while daddy and Emily went with Uncle Jay and Trenton to a TTU Basketball game. I think we had more fun!
I just love those crossed hands!!
We enjoyed a cookie, a cup of hot chocolate, and a story on the way to the North Pole… 
This was as close as Jackson got to Santa, but he did muster up enough courage to tell him he had been a very good boy this year and he wanted a football and field goal for Christmas!
